nice man , figured soething was up :) i just had some ph problems too but im in dwc and mine was to high so i lowered it to about the 5.0 region. my girls were blocking out potassium intake and had a pretty decent case of deficiency.

Yeah ii would def recommend flushing. Mine were losing a lot of leaves like urs and flushed helped big time. Still got some bad yellowing on one of the platinum bubbas tho.

101_0622.jpg101_0623.jpg101_0627.jpgDecided to flush the three big girls that are losing so many leaves early in flowering...at last minute i decided to flush the sour alien also, the other two strains look fine and are loving the overly acidic soil.....i was able to get my ph from 4.0 or lower up to about 6.5 so hopefully things improve

101_0679.jpg101_0678.jpg101_0680.jpgPlatinum Jack: has been out of the tent for about a little over a week but still seems to be producing flowers
101_0683.jpg101_0684.jpg101_0685.jpgdecided to transplant into a larger pot so i scraped the stem where the plant initially stretched and applied rooting hormone.....im weird like that

Pest Problems
Im guessing the fungus gnat population exploded after the heavy watering yesterday....opened up the tent today to find fungus gnats stuck in my trichomes.....so they're either dead or really high.....the gnats are becoming immune to the azamax as it seems so i applied neem oil to the soil and leaves today

101_0670.jpg101_0677.jpgbin B: was becoming anaerobic and was dumped into bin E
101_0674.jpgbin C: composting
101_0671.jpgbin E: started a brand new bin today;has a layer of cardboard underneath the compost

Sweet and sick all rolled into one. Superb gals. No to the flush I may try to interject are you using your compost? which I am sure you are why not brew a tea and feed them that for a week it can't hurt if you flush you will loose allot more leaves maybe and less with a stabilizing micro solution maybe even a teaspoon of lime in the tea brew will help with the acidic compost? Heck I know shit except what I have first hand knowledge of. Just throwing ideas your way.

I havent began to use my own compost yet but i did give the girls some tea last night...theyre looking a little better but its kinda hard to tell, ill know how they are doing in a few more days....and i actually learned that my soil wasnt acidic at all, just the runoff......i never knew there was a difference...havent come across the right info yet to set me straight though

Wow I am doing my first soil (TYPE) grow with the Ready Gro Moisture formula and they love it at 5.5=5.9 all is easy so far just don't flush them after creating a micro environment with the teas as you end up killing everything that was good down below just passing it on. I think I will go to an ebb and grow type setup in the future so I can get away from daily flower encounters for a week or more at a time using the same medium.
The ladies are killing me taking their clothes off like they are doing.

The Garden.....Seems like the flushed helped my big girls and they are no longer yellowing and losing leaves......fungus gnats are my main problem now..my next tactic against the little bastards is gonna be letting the soil dry out and the add water and hydrogen peroxide with is supposed to destroy all larvae in the soil

_MG_5002.jpg_MG_5003.jpg_MG_5001.jpgMaster Kush: I have not a clue why but the after taking about 5 weeks to begin the flowering she is now in reveg..wtf...i dont know what is going on but i again have only one strain that reverted back to veg....she also stretched a shit load so i had to get a little bit of lst action going on

thanks bro....yes i did put the broken tops in a pot, but not before scraping the sides and applying rooting hormone

dude i gotta up my battle against these gnats...the adult population is growing and i actually see larvae crawlling around in the soil

Yeah I figured u just did it like a clone.

Did u read in my thread about the mosquito dunk shit I did? Seemed to work real well. You could ttry hanging fly paper. Heard that works also to catch the adults. Did u cover u soil in sand or perlite?

If u get real desperate and can seal you room for a lil while, get a no pest strip and just hang it for a couple hours a day for a couple days untill u see no more. I would only do this as last resort because it does contain chemicals but not bad if only exposed for short period.

yeah i did see what you did with the dunks and it does seem more efficient than just watering with the dunks, because they only work when in water...i actually do have a few fly papers around the tent and they are catching a lot of them....if the h202 trick doesnt work them im definitely gonna have to try covering the topsoil with sand or something else...i did apply a foliar feeding of gognats yesterday so when the lights on ill see if that had any affect on the adults flying around my tent and commiting suicide by flying head first into the nearest trichome

no gnats today...the go gnats soil drench and foliar spay seemed to help out a lot...yesterday when i opened the tent they was gnats flying around and gnats just chilling on the sides of the tent and ceiling..today there are none that i can..i still plan on adding the h202 in a couple days whether or not i see the gnats returning...

having said that harvest time seems to be around the corner....the el capitan og and the jamaican og are going into week 8 and the sour alien is going in to week 7 in a couple days

So happy to get my email reminder for this thread! Awesome looking plants so far, despite some problems.

Do you think the LED's are too bright? The guy behind GrowLEDHydro is giving away new power supplies to his new lights because they were too intense, and causing plants to not flower properly. Another solution would be to raise them higher, but then again, this might not be the issue at all.

So you are pleased with the Ozone Jr still? I looked at the "Sr", larger model, about $150 I think, and I'm thinking of just getting that...I don't want to mess with carbon filters just yet, unless I can find the carbon locally an DIY.

I just received my Haight ppf-400 LED (90W, but up to 150W?) and will start building my space, 24"x18". Smell is my main concern, hence the interest in ozone.

Peace.

I hope all the girls pull through, I can't even imagine what your yield will be.
