Just a little mini-update for Day 11 (Cataracts + Jill) and Day 4 (BuKu). Took some shots all around, next nice update will be Friday again (and here on out), but shouldn`t be as intense as past one as training bits are for the most part done. Think the girls were ready and wanting flowering after almost 50/60 days of veg, liking the transition,

IMG-20130520-00584.jpg
The family as I left them last ...

IMG-20130520-00585.jpg IMG-20130520-00586.jpg
Leader, the second shot shots the nodes that are also determined to be tops, looking more like a 10-12 header by the end I`d think now. Goes to show the Kush varieties not being single-cola dominant also have extra mainline potential (unless it takes away from my dedicated tops..)

IMG-20130520-00587.jpg
Mohican, fully adjusted after the mishaps with her. Every head fighting for dominance now as well ...

IMG-20130520-00588.jpg
... same story with Mrs. Orange. Hand shows the 2 new heads taking the broken`s place ...

IMG-20130520-00589.jpg
... Jill, getting her stretch on. Will get good pictures of her main tops, will be big bud arms in a couple weeks, very tight spacing on her for a nearly 50/50 mix ...

IMG-20130520-00590.jpg
... and BuKu, showing more and more growth every day. Have to double check, but I think she only got about 10 or so days of veg, hoping she`ll just budstalk for me. The Burmese run I have offsite got 28 day veg and they hve serious goo happening right now, come down in 27 days :D

IMG-20130520-00591.jpg
And a final shot after some re-arranging for light distribution.

Girls get another feeding today, 5ml PBPB, 5ml CalMag, 1.5ml Silica Blast, and a drop of SuperThrive per gallon and they`ll drink about 2L each (minus Buku and Jill, about 1.25L each). BuKu gets lasts weeks feeding program the CK`s had, and we add our PK13-14 next week for one week only. Should see the explosions taking place ;). Keep it green guys,

I trying to figure some kush strains out for my fall grow and for some reason the Cataract never crossed my mind. So many choices!

Lovin little Buku in there. Now there is a very nice kush strain for sure. Heavy smoke and buzz, I really liked the Burmese alot.
You worrying about Jill's stretch at all? She looks like she is getting some legs. Do you run any 6500K lighting?

Any ideas for my 2 other strains you Kush lovin Canuck? You ever grow anything from Rare Dankness, they have some interesting crosses too. Peace

I`d recommend the Cataract after testing them out thus far. Seems to be more LA Con. in the mix than I thought (my straight OG18`s are bigger than these guys), but that might be nice/different in the smoke product. That we will find out around July 16th-ish ...

Otherwise, I can recommend both Burmese and Purple Kush for different reasons, all of the above should stay below 3ft with a bit of training. It`s looking like the Cataracts will finish about 18-22inches (from container) after it`s all said and done. Jill likes to stretch, but I have lots of experience with her, she`ll gain another 5-6inches tops with the tie downs. About a week after I use the PK boost is usually when the ties come off (week 4-5?). It`ll be documented this time at least :)

Haven`t grown anything from them, though the Night Terror looked pretty good. Try to keep to a specific gene pool usually, only recently I`ve been `branching out ` to other varieties. The art of crosses and what works and what doesn`t is fascinating to me, I`m such a weed nerd man :wall: :bigjoint:

Strongest smoke I had on my March Amsterdam visit this year was '' Kosher Kush '' from Voyagers coffeeshop, not sure if this is a genuine strain or one just made up by the coffeeshop owner to make everyone think hes selling something different, but it was a great smoke nonethe less. Don't believe I saw Critical Kush there either. Anyway I babble, lovely pics again Kush, can see them bushing out with every update.

Thanks Bilbo, always good to have ya! Kosher Kush is definitely a real strain from a real breeder. Believe RP does that strain, others may as well. Smoke and Coke has some experience with this strain I believe ...

Took loads of underbrush off witht this watering and also wanted to repost the nutrient that was used in this feeding. Here`s after we`re all through feeding and clearing air-room,

IMG-20130520-00595.jpgRe-arranged again (clockwise top left: Mrs. O, Jill, Leader, and Mohican. Buku in middle), everything is liking the feeding. see how they take to the rest of the day with that, hot and humid here.

Feeding went as follows, per 4L distilled water jug,
5ml CalMag
12ml Pro Bloom Soil
1/2 Teaspoon Silica Blast

Accomodating for warmer weather caused the up in Silica, and the bottle of PBPB recommends 20ml for this stage of growth. I keep it low because we get the PK blast next week, and resume about a 20ml PB feeding afterwards. Stay loose, keep it green,

Ya SouP was talking about the Kosher, it is from RP and looks outstanding. The Holy Grail Kush from DNA is the Kosher x OG18:hump:. I might be leaning toward the Holy Grail and Skywalker to team with my Afghan special. It's so hard to decide!

They are going to love that clearing out. Give them some room to really show off now. Keep it up man!

They've really busted out since the last pictures. Lookin good as usual bro, keep up the killer work. I'm really getting into the main-line with a twist concept I'm doing now. I think with all the tieing and topping I'm gonna end up with a friggin bush with a weird flat top goin on. Top & train & top & train & top, well you get the idea. I'm really working these girls and giving silicates and all. I really don't like to super-crop and break stems and all. Just personal preference though, super-cropping works really well. I can work with the plant through bending and pinching and get the same results though. I have stems that are like antlers. The elusive weedaloupe can visit you too if you work and love your girls. Anyways love to see your girls, very beautiful pic man. Hope to see more Ganja lovin. Good luck, Good grow, Be safe, :peace: out.

It looks like K.C. will be taking down a couple of weedaloupes soon!

Did you make it to The Grey Area Bilbo and if you did, did you sample any of DSTs' DOG kush?

Actually KC, if you have any of my strains with the Caseyband as the male (such a stoner haha, your going to remind me what I gave you. I still need to get T's gear to you right : ?), the Headband in that cross is from DST's male and the Casey Jones is from The Grey Areas entry to the cup a few years ago. There are some killer gems to be had ;)

Your plants are looking real happy brother keep up the good work. Looking forward to the flowerplosion soon!

I've been to the Grey Area a couple of times, small shop, American run with a killer menu. Smokes I remember that stand out were '' Casey Jones '' and '' Silver Bubble '' Dog Kush has a legendary reputation and many consider it the bast Kush of all, but when it comes into stock , word goes out and it sells out quickly. I guess you have to be lucky enough to be there at the right time.

Thanks brother, wish you could see the factory packed up now. Your BlueBubbaMaster (BB dom), Caseys Headband (I think), the Caliband, and the C99 (3 phenos) are all on the chopping block for next run, really pumped buddy. Going to send a few back once I put my touch on a few ;). Shame the GPDxBD and the Dog crosses were all wrecked up, looking forward to T`s crosses though, Kush aresnal right now over here, would make 6 or so going now, haha. Thanks for stopping in brother,

So good to hear, since those beans are in my camp. Can't wait to run 'em...After summer of course. ATB!
That`s what I said when I went through Supa! Haha, pays to know a cave-dwelling birdman ;). ATB to you as well mate

It does look pretty nice Stone, but if you`re newer to kushes (obviously growing them won`t be the issue), I might suggest growing something pure, a Hindu Kush, Burmese, Afghan alongside a hybrid Kush. Just to get a feel for a true kush and something someone`s played with. You`ll do great things with whatever you choose mate, I`ll be there to watch em with ya

Temps have raped me and the girls today, tent sat at 90ish from 3:00-9:00 (lights just went out for the night). Glad I gave the feeeding some time under the lights as they likely drank a lot to keep cool today. Hoping to see some nice growth from our night cycle. Thanks for the comments guys, keep it green

I have this freebie from my bud https://www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk/world-of-seeds-legend-collection-afghan-kush-special/prod_2784.html. Trying to find something to pair with it that is comparable in flower time. Luckily got a ways to go till Sept. I really did like the little bit of BuKu I had, and there are a few nice Hindu varieties out there too. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hope your day is going as good as mine, I stopped sending you vibes bro we all know how that worked out, but I'll still come by and peek in though. Looks good the girls are happy for sure. Good luck, Good grow, Be safe, :peace: out.

Thanks for the kind words as always Myco, everyday`s a new day, it starts well, you determine the rest :).

Will be heading offsite for a good chunk of the day to tend to some of my crosses, but the ladies have really taken to the feeding from yesterday, Leader continues to stretch out (I`m guessing as all undernodes were pinched off yesterday), and the family minus Buku (who I think I FIM`d accidentally before flower) is about 50-60% through their stretch period at this point. Starting to dedicate energy to budding now, this tiime next week give or take they`ll get the PK boost ... and it`ll be a whole new ball game.

Will post the pic of the day a little later on, give the ladies some time to wake-up and get some sun first. Thanks for staying tuned in guys, things are shaping up nicely . Keep it green,

If you would like, I'll put your name on the next beans my DOG produces. DST gifted me with some a few years back and my keeper cut sometimes produces a couple of beans sometimes it doesn't I never know when lol. But I do have a few in flower right now and I also have a couple of crosses that T made with the DOG and his 60's Kush recently that he has asked me to gift out for him. Your welcome to some of those as well Bilbo, just let me know
