I just buy one of those cheapo 5 dollar trays with the rockwool in them. You can get them @ the depot. Look on YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. for "stoned free cloning". Watch that, and follow it and you'll be straight.

man u aint never lying, that was a helpful video. not a lot of in depth details but it gets the point across. so, me and my partna had a couple of tall boys (24oz beer cans) and im in the process of cutting those up for reflectors. i love this site, if i could ill send each and every one of yous a sample of my lady but then if i did that i wouldnt have anything to burn now would I? lol but good look on the info Smoke ill keep yall updated. good burning, peace

thats one way of looking at it...

when u spray the clones ur watering the plants, the dome simply keeps water in the air so that the water doesnt evaporate before the clones get a chance to use it.

when u spray the dome ur increasing humidity inside the dome (which needs to be 85%-100%..any lower and your success rate for clones will begin to drop).

also with a dome the clones requires less frequent misting, which would make less work for you to do.

wally world has them too, and BTW there isn't alot of info cause cloning is really easy. You might need to take a small screwdriver and poke the hole out a little bit better on those rockwool cubes you get. Keep them moist but not wet, get a good cloning hormone (about 7 bucks, havent' tried it without the hormone so it might work without it). DO NOT PULL THE PLANTS OUT OF THE ROCKWOOL ALL THE TIME AND CHECK TO SEE IF THEY GOT ROOTS! just wait about 5-12 days and you should see roots coming out of the bottom.

son of a bytch plant, i dont know whats going on wit my girl. shes gettin brown tips on about 65% of her leaves . she really hasnt progressed in getting too much taller but all her little additional sites are growing steadily and have nice bright green growth. shes been like this for about 2 1/2 wks now, not getting worse but barely getting better. her big fan leaves are about dead turning brown and drying out, should i jus cut these off? i came to the decision to jus water her daily w/plain ol h2o till i get a better grip on things. the little baby clones i started from here are doing fine. its frustrating b/c i can troubleshoot a network in a corporate building and have it up and running again in less than 3 hrs, but i cant find out whats wrong wit a simple plant!!! man. so heres what ive come up wit thus far: 1. i over pruned and shes stunted for a few weeks, 2. nute burn, 3.not enough water, 4. root bound. i need some insight here, does anybody have any idea what might be going on and a fix action? once again ALL advice is more than welcomed. good burning peace

cool, thanks for the advice. so should using plain jane water be a good fix action or should i be taking other precautions along with that? im going to wally worl to pick up a 5 gal bucket, new soil, bottled water, and superthrive. good enough list? anything need to be added or subtracted? thanks again money for that advice

son of a bytch plant. i took all that time and nurturing and the damn plant turned out to be a male. a 4ft. male closet grow....anyway, there is always a silver lining. this one is i have a nice block of hash now so all isnt bad. ill start a new grow here soon and this one will be a significant step from my last, thus the hopes for a bigger succes. peace

tough break bruh, it happens. U did a great job man, this proves that stress doesnt always make a plant hermie or go male, a huge part comes from genetics.

few things tho
If ur gonna continue using CFL's then dont veg longer than 30 days or so, since the penetration sux with them, you will get better lighting while the plants are kinda on the small size without hurting the yeild very much..

U might wanna look into some nutes this time, molasses works great but if U changed ur nutes U would see a huge difference in how fast the plant(s) reaches maturity bcuz it wont be relying on whats inside of it. the less work U make the plant do the faster and stroonger it grows.

U might wanna also upgrade ur lighting, the CFL's work fine for right now, but now that U got ur first grow outta the way its time to step it up a notch or two. Try adding a small security lamp from home depot. last time I checked they were around $35-40 for a 70w HPS, I've seen ppl get an oz per plant with just a 70w HPS in a MICRO grow, im sure U could get at least 1.5-2oz with all that u have.

once again man, great job, but I reccommend u try to make each grow a little better than the last by upgrading each time till ur satisfied and Ur sure to have a bountiful harvest.

oh and if u grow from seeds from some random chronic again make sure U get rid of any plants that have mutations or "birth defects" (ie. wrinkly leaves, constant drooping, 4 or 6 finger fan leaves when u know it should have 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, or 13 fingers on it)

those plants are F1's and arent gonna produce the best product so its best if U just dont waste ur time with them. so treat them like a hermie or male-no bad genetics in ur garden
