i was kind of worrying about the trich production, you have excellent bud production and obviously know your way into a plants heart.

Nice! Look's like you got ahold of some good seeds.
I've been (medicating) for 39 years now and as far as being able to tell male or female.
I was taught that as a rule of thumb, if the limbs are straight across from each other it's male.
If the limbs come out odd, that is not straight across, it's female.
As far as I know that is the only way to tell before pistels show up. Or not.

dude thats COMPLETELY wrong. plants grown from seed have Symmetrical growth (both sides, at the same time.) and clones have Asymmetrical growth (left, right, left, right)

if you were going by males=symetrical gfrowth you would end up killing EVERY seed you ever planted......

As far as I know that is the only way to tell before pistels show up. Or not.

Or not. if you have a GOOD microscope (40/0.75 objective lens + 10x polorizing lens is what i use...) you can tell by the plant structure edging the node formation.... unless you have a $500 microscope, your going to have to wait for pistols.

Hey KONA!! i just harvested my BC Big Bid - Indica Pheno.

i figured i would share with everyone here. its is an awsome strain, especialy the indica Pheno..... the sativa pheno is larger, bushier, and more bud..... but the indica Pheno is sweeeeeetttt smelling, tasting and one of the nicest stones i have had in a while :D

i took pic's of the whole harvest for you.... to give you an idea of how i do it. i find that removing the fan leaves while the plant is still standing makes working the buds MUCH easier.

The top Cola is 10-11 OZ's wet weight..... im hoing it will be one of those infamous One Ounce Buds! i figure i got around 40+ Grams of Top Shelf meds.

P.S. This plant was grown 12/12 from seed, with the addition of UV/B lighting.
