Yay- I'm doing the "new light dance" for ya..! I think the purple ballast goes well with your personality and nails hehe. The first thing u learn out here is to never use parcel post or by boat shipping... It's usually only a little more for usps or priority and thank Pele that fedex and UPS starting offering ground shipping rates to Hawaii a couple years ago. The stuff travels by ground on the mainland and catches a plane to the islands- I've gotten alot of stuff that way for relatively cheap and only 3 days after I ordered it... It used to be a choice of either by boat or by second day air. Both choices are pretty gnarly for either slowness or rip-off.
 
 
Yeah I know your pain with Hawaii Shipping!! it sucks sometimes it is always worth it for priority! :)
 
dat was a long wait 4 a light, ur grow is lookin gr8 wish i lived in a country wer its legal i dnt wana order anything of the net.

Of course the purple is pretty hehehe :) and hahaha yes the grow shop guy explained parcel post to me a lil bit ago and then I asked my mail man he said it could be 6-8 weeks and that's when I started saying it was on a boat and just starting laughing and shaking my head hahaha.........then I was waiting and getting more cfl lights each day it did not come hehehe:) I got it on e-bay with free shipping hahaha go figure....now I know why for next time!!!!

Thanks I am excited that my auto flowers are gonna be able to finish even better now that the 600 is finally here :) and they got Big Bloom a few nights ago so they should be happy!!! Tomorrow I am going to be trying to set up the tent and moving the plants around hahaha fun!!!!
 
hey there beach gal KN!, I am still trying to work out what you are using as your main light, lol. I think the lamp shade dealio you got going on there is super fukkin cool!!!!! Extra-ghetto!!

Lookin' good kona. That's a nice light. I just checked my tracking number and I'm expecting my new 400w light today:bigjoint:

"Scheduled For Early Delivery On:Thursday, 07/21/2011, By End of Day"
I only ordered it off ebay two days ago too:lol:
I'd flip having to wait a whole month for shipping. You did a great job improvising.

Hahaha well this is not the final set-up....the final one still is prob a few days and a lot of weed away lol...but now all my parts are here!!! 72in x 72in tent, 600 watt light, air-cooled hood, 6" inline fan, 6" ducting, 2 ocilating fans and now lots of cfl lights too hehehe...it was still worth the wait for how much money I saved!!! I got a better system for a better price and now that it is here I am gonna be super stoked my babies are getting everything they need and are going to have a good set-up once the tent is all put together ;) wish me luck!!!
 
Hey Kona its DINAFEMHAZEAUTO lost(forgot)lol my damn password and asked RIU for 2 days for new 1 and never heard so made a new name...Glad ur getting ready to rock...Did u buy a GUN yet???lol

Hey buddy, I have forgotten more than a few passwords hahahaha and um no gun yet, just sticking with a fly swatter and a pipe for now hahaha!!!

What- are you guys livin the the early 2000's?! hehe I got this program and it's one of the best things I ever got: http://www.roboform.com/. It's a password manager and it's free for the first (12?) logins- if you pay a one time fee of 29 bucks or so it unlocks it to hold unlimited logins. Its so cool to press one button and it navigates to the login page, enters your info and presses "enter" for ya. It also knows when your signing up for a new account and offers to save te login info at that time. Lastly- you can enter all your name address phone number, credit card info, etc. and it will offer to fill it in anytime your ordering something or whatever- it's seriously cool and is a huge time saver. I have over 100 logins saved and don't have to worry about using the same password for everything so I won't forget it. Oh yeah, it can also generate random complicated passwords for you and remembers them of course...
 
It's 8:30pm here, perfect time to take a break, listen to some music and smoke with my garden :smile: Oh yeah and then my mom and lil girl will have brownies ready for me, this is the life !!!
 
Hehehe I actually don't even have a room, I call the lanai my room and the living room hahahahaha, just so happy to be here and have room for me and to grow my babies in Hawaii!!!!

I live on my lanai too- got a little ocean view and I have my pc setup outside here under a roof- it's so much cooler than being in a stale air sunless office somewhere... I do have a bedroom, but really only go there to sleep and shower... ;)
