omg let me tell you about my body. my back is fucked up. from falling down stairs. i am in constant pain. i hunch over cuz i cant stand up with out hurting. i been to numerous doctors and chiropractors but nothing helps. so i feel like im old as fuck.

moral of story.

dont fall down the stairs and push ur head thru the wall and have seizures. not good. was about 50 stairs too and hit my head on concrete floor.

I feel your pain. Just last year was hit by a car, before that had a surgery on my hand. Broke my hand on someones head. Before that I had 2 major knee surgerys. One on each knee. Was kicked in my knee and it was broken. And it wasn't a street fight it was a pro fight with a ref and rules so kicking in the knee is dirty as fuck. And from that they found I had a birth defect in my knee's so I had to have surgery on the other one. That explains the second knee surgery. I have been in a few car accidents. My back is so bad I have to be careful sitting down and getting up.

All this and I am only 28. Hell I had knee surgery at the age of 19. Around 19. Can't exactly remember when.

Wow, Me too. The ONLY way I get a appatite and want to eat is if I smoke. Sucks because when I got no buds I don't want to eat or get any enjoyment out of eating.

Hahahaha sounds like my emotions lol!!!! Hehehehe ya we all have a fun time and smoke out and can handle our shit hehehehehe we all know who is trust worthy and who is like a spidar mite hahahaha ;) No not everyone is an expert, but some people want to learn and some people want to act like they know it all already and don't know anything but what other people have told them and have no real experiance lol ;) anybody who knows anything about growing know you alway are learning something new ALWAYS!!!!!!!! Man keep dreaming and your dreams will come true;) I did hehehehe and it is only gonna get better from here!! I love my life and my friends and yes when I don't have my meds it can be scary, but most of all just don't lie to me and I am just fucking fine and a big teddy bear!!!!!
Thanks kona your awesome. Means alot to hear that. First time in a Loooong time I heard someone say they believe in me, and my dreams will come true.

Ya and I know I been growing for years, and have lots of knowledge, but I learn something new everday. I even learn from people in these forums. So while I may know more then they average person, I do not claim to know it all and always welcome anyone's opinion. I really hate people who think they know it all, and that there way is the right way.

For example, I don't want to say any names but someone started a Make it rain technique. Now I studied botany and everything I learned tells me that, that method is no good for your plants. When you make it rain its suppose to encourage root growth. Well that's a joke because roots grow when they are searching for water, not drowning in it. There are also many other things wrong with that theory that I wont point out. And if any of you guys use that method or crated it no offense to you. If it works for you then keep doing it. I just would never do it.

Sorry I am answering everyone's post one after another. I wish I was here to take part in the convo as its going on lol. But I am forced to catch up on the convo when I can.

I would like to hear you point them out cause I want to learn why...No offense taken bro, I do make it rain on all soil and coco grows and my plants seem to love it. But I will say this, I use his concept but do it differently. I just want to learn everything about growing and I like to try different things with my grows cause it gives me a chance to learn better and see what fits my comfort level of growing.

Peace

Ok, Well I don't remember everything about the technique but I do remember some problems I had with the theory. one of which is that flooding it with water makes the roots grow. Which is dead wrong because roots grow when the soil is dry they search for water. Thats basic knowledge.

My other problem is something with watering with the same PH as rain because at that PH they can't take up any nutrients, then you change it back to regular PH and it starts getting fed again. Well again that theory is wrong because if plants couldnt take up nutrients with rain water, or water with the same PH as rain don't you think that would be a problem with all the plants growing on our planet? I mean our planet is like 85% covered with plants and it would be impossible for plant life to flourish if they couldn't take up nutrients. You don't need to have studied botany to figure that out. Just a little common sense.

I tell people most of the time when they really believe something works, and they hear others saying it works. Well its usually just that. They think its working because they hear of the success everyone else is having, and then you start to see your plants benefiting from it when its really not that, its just you growing them good. Try stopping that method but doing everything else your doing. I bet your plants do just as good if not better.

You can't believe everything you hear on the internet and these forums. I bet your plants are doing better because you have learned more and are taking better care of your plants, not because you are drowning them with water. Again, not trying to offend anyone or anything. Its just my opinion. And like I said if you truly believe that its helping your plants keep doing it. Because sometimes the fact that you believe something is working so well is what really gets your crop growing better. You believe in what your doing therefor you do everything with caution and do the best of your ability.

Maybe someone gave me the wrong info about the make it rain technique but from what I remember those were part of the technique. And well its just wrong.

In regards to make it rain I don't think u understand the point of the technique man. Your drowning your plants on purpose what it does is effectively make your plants sleep. Your bud plants never sleep lights on or off the reason for this is that during the day they aachen like a solar panel at night they grow explosively using he energy harnessed during the day. Drowning em let's them "rest" so to speak and creates explosive growth as soon as enough water transpires out of your soil. I don't give a shit what botanists say. I study botany I know it's no supposed to work. But you know what it does and I works ten times better than any other watering method for soil except drippers. Reason being is ZERO dry pockets in your soil as well. It's just an all around better watering method. You don see plants keeping over and dying from rain water lol.

Ive run side by side comparisons. It's proven it's a FACT with cannabis that it responds better to that style watering. FACT PERIOD. Some amount of stress is good for out plants it encourages growth.

How much do u know about perceived hydrogen bro seriously your tellin me plants can't absorb 7.0 ph rofl dood.. Look let me try and explain something to you. For plants to uptake water and nutrients edficiently and effectively they need to be ran at a ph of 6.2-7.0 that's for herb plants and as you can see its a range. Same as with he alkalinity scale the average oh needed to water plants to keep them healthy just so happens to be 7.0 gee wonder if god did that on purpose ;) now there's shit tons different plant life on our planet they all like to be watered at different phs. Soil has an effect on ph so that changes with the region of the world your in. But bud plants ph for soil should always be 6.2-7.0 that's rainwater bro go ahead and feed your plants 8.5 ph water or some shit and think they will grow just the same rofl. It's not the case my man. Your whole last post absolutely flies in the face of every book ever written about cannabis. I hate to be a dick if that's how this came off but that is the most misinformation I've seen in a long time and needs to be clarified.

If this in reply to my comment like I said I was only responding to what someone told me about the make it rain technique. And if that's what they were doing it for they were doing it in vein. Now, if there is another reason this is done and it works then fine. But I don't want someone thinking that drowning there plants is helping there roots grow. And that watering them with that PH they wont take up any nutrients.

Exactly!!! they will take up nutrients when you feed them ...not when you Make it rain. ;)

you should read Riddleme's threads and you will have a better understanding of the technique.

Hmmm look man lol ur ph theory is way the hell off unless u worded it wrong, also make it rain does promote root growth it promotes growth everywhere. I could show u pics of root apps from plants that have been watered with make it rain and normal methods the reason make it rain promotes root growth in a simpleton explanation is if u hit a dry pocket in soil with roots ur plant is stunted like a mo fuck. U watered yesterday and it looks wilted today type shit. If u make it rain there's no dry pockets and the roots travel downward in search of more water as the top transpires off. It most definitely does promote root growth.
