I've never heard of Kona Gold Genetics. Their full of it. There is no way those are authentic genetics if they finish in 8-9 weeks. I definitely wouldn't pay $100 for 6 seeds. You have to be careful with many of these newer outfits selling seeds.

Just finished the Kona Gold (acapulco x kona). I took it about 9 weeks. Got 2 + ozs. Not a great yield but similar to the other 5 plants in my 4x2 tent. I think it's quite good. Not the most potent in my stable but potent enough to satisfy. Worth a try for anyone looking for a relatively fast sativa with a good upbeat high. Buds were fairly chunky so would probably yield well if given more space to grow and a longer veg time.

Also, a good sativa like this one available in feminized seeds is a big plus to an apartment grower.like myself.

If you are interested in more landrace fem seeds, check out Ace, Cannabiogen, Delicatessen, and Tropical seeds, some of the best Spanish banks. You can find their stuff from most of the European seedbanks, like Attitude, or even from some of our sponsors here like London Seed Centre.

I haven't had much luck with Ace. The only strain of theirs that I've kept is the A5xMalawi, which is up there with my best sativas. The Golden Tiger, Panama Haze and others were ok but not keepers.

That's a good question. When I researched kona gold after I bought the seeds kind of on impulse the sativa 'landrace' version seems to test at a modest 15 % thc. It also takes a while to grow. With the chunky buds and wide leaves, the short flower time and better Ihan expected potency I suspect it's been crossbreed with an indica. As I recall the breeder seemed to specialize in indicas. But I don't know this to be factual.

Just want to update with a recent purchase from a breeder I hadn't heard of to now , Happy Bird Seeds. In my search for a cbd rich strain with some thc for the abdominal pain I've been dealing with for a while I came across Happy Bird. I purchase a feminized strain with a 2 to 1 cbd to thc ratio. While I was perusing.their site I noticed that they also work with.a lot of Hawaiian strains. They have a substantial number of strains crossed with Kuai Electric. In addition to the cbd seeds, I picked up a feminized Kona Gold x Maui Wowie. Never heard of this breeder before so I don't know how legit they are but if you're interested in Hawaiian sativas you may want to check them out. Another plus is they sell them as single seeds. I bought 4. I hate it when some breeders only sell 10 packs for 100 to 200 dollars cause I'll never be able to use them all.
