Just having the wrong common items together can cause you problems. Even paper clips can be classified as paraphernalia under federal and most state laws. Go figure.
Or if you live in a state that can arrest you for legal growing items, if they can prove intent to grow, cultivate, etc. I think intent would be tough to prove in most cases though.
Knowing the law and your rights does help.
