Kludge - Grow 003 - Bag Seed: Topping and Pruning

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. Some of the trichs were amber, those are still amber, but on the new growth there are no amber trichs. In addition there have been no additional amber-ification of the trichs on the older growth. Thats why I think I extended the flowering phase. I gave it the nutes to grow more flowers so it did, now I have to wait for those flowers to develop to maturity. I said 2 weeks but it's probably more like just 1 more week. I should start seeing amber again by friday.

Oh, you can harvest when they turn cloudy. If you wait till a large percentage, like 40 or 50%, change then you make sure you get all of the cannabinoids. The fewer amber the bigger the head high, the more amber the more body stone you get.

Here's what it looks like now... it's STILL not done. It's got about 10% amber or less.

So far I've gotten off about 24 grams dried from this plant and I would guesstimate these two remaining colas will give me another 14-18 grams. They were the biggest and these buds are MUCH harder than I've ever felt before, probably because I've never let them properly age. So of course I am chopping it tomorrow damn it!

I was just looking at the buds for trichome color and I lightly squeezed a bud a little to see how dense it was... oh my gods my fingers are sticky as shit! Can't wait to harvest this... REALLY shows me I need to be more patient...

mine 29 days and starting to merge together , that looks sweet there, i'm a kush man mysef,probablywy my brain is so slow, huh,.haha.saw your stuff from this morning, died laughing ,you said, your cute, like an angry kitten, hahaha

no piky stiky, hands off. cant pik at them .be patient. but at day 30 of flowering i remove 75%of my leaves , in my avitar ,look at those kush babies .Got 1 pound dry out of that grow.that shit was so strong you barely smoke it, toxic

u cut all ur leaves off? i have trimmed quite a few off mine but i wouldnt cut them all off. thats where they get their energy

no, just where shade is coveringbudding areas, this pant was loaded with eaves any way, its in full bud grow now, doesnt need a lot of leaf anyway at thi s point.no under growth buds here. to many leaves aso take energy away from the plant i leave enuff for it to thrive on, thanx though.most of mine are the size of your fist anyway loaded, evan at 28 days fowering

LOL, yeah, it looks kinda sad. As you can see I've been harvesting a little at a time over the last 2 weeks so no harvest pics. It's kept me in pot all that time but just imagine how much more I would have had if I was more patient.

I broke down and bought some mids yesterday so I wouldn't be tempted to touch this until it's truly ready. I want to see what I missed by harvesting too early. My buddy I gave one of the other colas to said it was as good as the mids I just bought. I'm not sure about that though, he hadn't smoked any weed in a month.

But like I said, I'm growing a lot more plants now. I was starting off with 2 or 3 then just so I wasn't over loaded. At that time I had planed on a harvest every 2 weeks but I've redesigned my grow timing to harvest every 4 to 6 weeks since that's a lot more realistic and easier. I'm hoping this will allow me to have my favorite Sativas in a nice long flower and still have a faster Indica crop growing at the same time so I don't run out while waiting for the Sativas.

thats wat i started doin,i been moving out the garage to the shed,ha.built me a planter box ,4 ft by 4ft by 4in ht. and need to seal it .and put pastic in for no overfloow to the floor, ordered another 600 wat hps, hotiux bulb, vortex fan , ducting hose , installed an air con inthe door,ha.Doors broke anyway . want to do 12 g13 hashplants in 3 and a hallf ga. buket .waiting on my order from attitude, been 10 days today, hopefuly. i'm like you , i had mine sent to my po box under my brother in laws name.hahaha.hes an ass anyway.keep my coset tofini . wats in there now and take clones and keep it goin,i got some bue moonshine seeds coming to. if all else fails i still havefour pcs BB left,b.cheese and freebie around.

Alright, this is what she looks like in normal light. I'm about to chop her and will post bud pics after I'm done pruning.

Close ups, they don't look like they have as many trichomes as the top of the line stuff, and they don't, but they have plenty and these buds are full of resin. Sticky as shit.

Looks like I'll get about 15.6g grams off these going by 20% of the wet weight of 78g. I think I'll get closer to 17g or even 19g because of how heavy the buds are with resin.

Can't wait for these to dry and cure. I'm not going to go crazy though, 5-7 days dry, then 7 days dry curing in mason jars or till they don't sweat.

Alright, so I tested this weed against some so called mids and my weed won hands down. But the so called "mids" were pretty crappy. More like top of the line schwag.

I also found a few immature seeds in there. I know where the pollen came from too, me. I squished a male pollen pack just to see what it was like on the inside and even though I washed my hands some probably got on my clothes then I touched my clothes and then the plants. Doh! There were only a few, maybe 6 total, but still.

i found out today ,the hard way my orange bud is a pervert . yep hermes. isee afew seed areas down on the bottom, to Iate now its in fuII bIoom.

I turned my 400 into a veg light, it's about twice as bright as my homemade CFL and it's showing in the growth rate. CFL's are great for slow tight growth but the MH is kicking its ass in rate of growth and it's a hell of a lot easier to use.
