have been spraying them according to a yates insecticides instructions and there has been a definite decrease, but I still cant seem to get rid of all of them all :(.

Thats heaps you need about 1 gallon (3.8 litres) pot size per month your plant will be alive... so a 5 month grow you should have around 19 litres or 5 gallons atleast. But the more space the bigger your plants will grow. You only have to worry about being rootbound when you are under those numbers.
Is your yates insecticide organic or synthetic? You dont want to use any "in-organic" sprays on them when they are flowering as it is harmful to smoke buds that have been sprayed and they probably wont taste the same.
For some reason mites can develop a resistance to insecticides so the first 2 applications might wipe the adults out but then the next generations will become resistant meaning the insecticide will become useless :sad:
The neem oil I used last year did really good (better than insecticide for spidey mites apparently), all you need is 1 application every 4 or so days and treat it for around 2 weeks until all mites and eggs are destroyed, just rinse it off the leaves afterwards with plain water, try not to apply anything during flowering but if you have to, the dish soap with luke warm water method maybe better as to not spoil the taste of your buds!
Mites do love dry (low humidity) and heat so if it hasn't rained in a while just spray leaves with plain water in early morning or evening (to not burn the leaves) as it helps keep them from coming back because as they say: prevention is better than cure!

Blood meal and bone meal , although they may be " organic" contain a lot of pathogens, many other organic forms of good NPK

thanks a lot for this post, the insecticde is organic but I'm hoping i wont have to spray them at all come flowering :D. picked up some neem oil today hopefully it will do the trick.

A bit of a depressing update.. Yesterday my grow buddy was tying back the church and snapped one of the main branches! But its is all tied back in place and looks healthy still hoping for the best :-P
The other picture is of the KS WW and Green Poison tied over they are still about waist high!! :leaf:

The 4 NL are definately not Autos as they are now almost as tall as the church!!

Also the fast bud already has as much bud on it now as the stunted ones did :hump:

Guerilla Update!!

Went out last night with two good mates, getting there at about 1am. The bad news is when we were just about out of the city I realized that I had left the camera at home..:sad: and I did not want to turn back with a boot full of plants, as they stunk out my car haha

We took the last ten out, after a bit of trouble in the storm and the torch dying we finally got to the first plot. There were 3 deaths as a tree had fallen on them, but the other 8 are some of the best looking plants I have ever seen!! :clap:

They are about chest high, two of them have been topped and now I wash we had done the others as well but the un-topped plants have branched extremely well and all of them have soo many leaves!! :leaf:

Also not one bit of trouble from insects or animals, aside from one or two bottom leaves everyone was bright green.

So we ended up putting the last ten quite close too these as it is such a perfect spot and I have claimed from now on haha Im going to grow some up indoors to put out there at the end of this year! I can't believe what a perfect spot it is :-P

I will be there again in another few weeks because my grow buddy is keen as to see them and we will be able to give them some flowering nutes to kick them off! I will make sure I don't forget the camera then. I can't wait to show you guys

The weather was horrible last night, we were in the bloody storm haha, the plants will be loving the rain water though!

Nice kiwi they must be bushy as hell! Here in Aucks its such a pain to do a Guerilla because we have to drive a long way in any direction to get to a good spot :wall:
However my friend has got some that he planted out in early November from clones that were around 50cm tall! He took me out to see 5 of them on Sunday and they are monsters about 170cm tall! :clap:
Gave me some ideas for next season I wonder how much they will yield, enough smoke to last all year!:weed:

Yeah this is a good 1hr 20min drive from where I live, and then like a 30min walk.. So worth it though, can't wait for next spring!! (and harvest haha)

yeah cuz just the one being my first grow wanted to get the jist of growing before moving onto bigger plots... any of your indica dominant strains showing preflowers/ flowers yet?

So far only the CHURCH and the Northern Lights have showed their pre-flowers, The others at plot one won't be far behind either I wouldn't think. Good shit dadadda that plant is looking sweet
