Kings Kush day 54 flower, lots of purple pics!

She's in a 3 gal pot with 50x35x15 soil/perlite/worm castings, fox farm trio nutes with molasses every other week, probably gonna keep her in flower 9 weeks than harvest.

I wonder if most kings kush plants are dominant purple, this is my first time growing it

So does anyone think one week isn't long enough, judging by the pics? I'm questioning if I should go 10.....

ive grown the kings kush ...
I willl tell you it turned purple immediately ...
First it was yellowish durring veg... but not nute def yellow...
I was really impressed with the plant...
The smell is very fuelly like the og in the local shops...
ghs's desription is spot on....
Its smell is a lil bit better than its taste oddly...
But all og purp crosses are fantastic.. the best of both worlds... and they really compliment each other...
Theres really no downside to it ... except that its really indica.... not my favorite high... and even tho its has solid nuggs .. there not too dense ... i mean there big and solid but kinda light.... compared to straight og...
It might not be as good as the purple og strain thats goin around that i grew last grow...
But its definately supper good after a nice cure....

Ah so it's pretty normal for the purple to come out if kings kush? I've only grown one other kush before, vanilla kush. Wasn't a huge fan but I've smoked kush that has toppled me over so I was hoping this strain might do it hah.

How long did u guys flower for? When u say it's mainly indica stone, u mean like a couch lock?

The golds...... purples
..... alto i topped mine and the kandy kush commanded alll the space an light.....
I got descent yield off a 2 footer... im sure you got more....

The high is a real couch looker... im more of an indica guy ...not big on sativas....
But this kings kush is really stony ..... probly because the grape ape....
Im sure youll be happpy with it tho....

What about that leaf curl?

that tends to happen when there are so many trich on the bud leaves.... that its a curl shimmer....illl show u more....

I also see you removed all the leaves and stuff from the lower section ANy ill effects doing this 5 weeks into flower on a 9-10 week strain?I have alot of lower growth on my Chemdog 91

Leaf curl on these pics.?

@323 nice lookin buds! So u only went 8 weeks? Did u flush at all? I typically just do my last two waterings with pure water and hope that gets rid of any bad stuff left over. I was going to do my last water today, which is day 58. Should I skip the last water and harvest? Or give her one more water to help get rid of excess minerals??

@hghfly I think a reason my leafs curl is that it's a vertical lght setup and the plant is quite close to the light. Also my flower room is less than 20% humidity so i'm thinking that could be drying some of the leafs out. No biggy tho I don't want the leafs anyways heh

as for cutting the bottom I cut some lower branches end of veg, and took off some bottom growth during the first few weeks of flower. I was scared to cut anything past week 5 for fear of stressing. My first grow had a hermie from stress

i think i went 9 weeks....
but i usually always go nine weeks no mater what strain....
I would definately flush .... i have had nugs come out a little harsh when i do less flushing....
But it really depends how much you fed her in the past....
If your pretty heavy with the nutes definately at least 4 flushes over 10 days....
But if your a light feeder 2 may work ....
Ive read allot of flushing.... and dont believe the non flushers it helps...
The key is to start going light on the nutes around the 7 and 8th week...
That way in the last week...week 9 you can flush about 2 to 3 times....
if i were u id flush a couple more times to be safe....
Besides if the leaves arent all yelllow there potentially still growing.....
im pretty sure i went 60 days...

Ah that's good to know! There's still some green in there so I think i'll let it go a bit longer. Ya I've heard different takes on flushing or not flushing. My feeding never exceed 3/4 strength of what the bottle says, so not too much nutes.

I'll give her a good 5 or so more days and be back with harvest pics heh
