King's Grow. Bigger and Better.

Hello everyone! My next grow is underway, and as the title says... It's bigger and better. New strains, new set up, going to be doing some light breeding, mixing in some fiming and topping, and running both outdoor and indoor.

Strains:leaf: Running the Purple OG Kush, Chemdawg, G13xWW, and Mango. If I get anything else by chance I'll just add it in there with a short veg time.

Soil:leaf: FFOF (75%) and perlite (25%) for indoor. Danks recipe for outdoor.

Nutes and Additives:leaf: Jack's All Purpose and Jack's Bloom Booster. They are a little light on Mg so I'm adding Magical to the mix. I'll be adding Floralicious Plus by GH during flower. I'm using SNS209 pest control as a preventative.

Indoor set-up:leaf: Currently my 6x2 closet has all the plants in there. This is getting scratched tomorrow when my new 8x4x7 tent gets in. I am getting rid of my magnetic 600w and getting 2 dimmable 600's with XL reflectors with cool tubes. I may also end up ordering 2 100w LED's to throw in there for some side lighting. Until I determine that, I'm running some cfl's as filler. 150 cfm booster for the cool tubes, oscillating for movement, and a 400cfm with filter exhaust.

Outdoor set-up:leaf: I will be running the revegged previously harvested plants (1og, 1 cd, 1 g13ww) as my outdoor babes and a few extra OG's. 10 gal pots hung in the trees. Going to be using Dankster 420's soil recipe for these, so I won't give that out.

This is mostly for me to document my journey, but feedback and conversation are encouraged as a bonus =D Feel free to share knowledge, opinions, music, pictures, or videos if they are somewhat relative! HAPPY GROWING ERRBODY!:peace:

Dankster knows his stuff man; you should be good to go with that. Your last harvest looks great; the strains you've picked are top shelf. It should be a great ride!

Thanks guys! Glad to have some other people along for the ride! An extra set of eyes is definitely helpful for a newb! Just put my new tent up while blasting some ZZ Top on Pandora. Some good southern rock makes me work harder! I knew it was 8x4x7 and measured my room, but DAMN that thing is huge. Between that and my king bed, there is a 2 foot and 3.5 foot walkway, my dresser, and my bed lol At least I have my f'in closet back!!!

My thoughts on the tent:leaf: Shotty welding done by a Chinese worker at 10 cents an hour I give a 5/10. Don't blame him though, for that money I would do some shotty welding too! Welded well enough that it will not break with 100+ pounds though. The quality of the fabric, I would give an 9/10. Very thick and durable. There were a 3 miniscule light leaks that I will cover with some black nail polish. The zippers are great quality (10/10)! Big ol' zippers that run pretty smooth all the way around and have internal light seals for around the zipper areas. The vents are also high quality and double sealed to prevent light leaks which impressed me for a cheap-o (10/10).
OVERALL RATING: 8.5/10 PRICE:$189 from TheLAShop

Now, time to replace the hole in the ceiling of the closet, cut one for above the tent in my br, hang the lights and new fan, and move the lovely ladies to their beautiful new home! I'll post more pics when I get them moved over.

The tent is completely set up other than the 2 digital 600's I'm swapping in and the 200cfm fan and filter I'm getting for the tubes. One problem... The 400cfm cheapo fan I ordered was loud as can be. Getting the filter on there and the duct work quieted it a little, but I'm still going to inquire on a return tomorrow morning.

As for the ladies, they are doing great. Two have yellowing bottom leaves, but that's just because they ran out of nutes in the small containers. Now that they've been transplanted it hasn't progressed in 4 days. Jeez veg is a boring time! I WANT RESULTS DAMN IT! lol

have you ever revegged a plant before?
Nope. Wish I would have known more about it before taking my clones so late (2 or 3 weeks into flower). Took them forever to root and then go back to veg. The really neat thing is after they go back to veg, they shoot 5-10 main stalks up instead of the one. Also taking the plants I harvested forever to switch back. I'm just going to throw those in the trees to see what happens. Have to keep the G13WW around a little longer though. I killed the clones from it in my clone experiments and don't want to loose the strain. Real creeper and I love that

Edit* Almost forgot to ask you about that Tahoe you grew out. I'm a huge OG fan. Love that OG diesel flavor on the back of your tongue with the sweets on the front. Is it worth giving a try and if so, what breeders would you recommend?

The tahoe I showed off was actually a good friend of mine who doesnt frequent the forum. It was a cali connection cut i believe. Def great smoke. However I personally prefer the sativas over the indicas, so i guess it is all in what you are looking for.

Revegging after harvest can take up to almost a month, just to let you know.

I think it took them about 4 weeks give or take a few days. Took my clones forever to root because I took them so late, but they did. Worked out well because I don't have two rooms and needed a slow growth to wait on the others to finish. As for the harvested plants, one is completely back into veg and the other two are trying to get there. I believe the more leaves you leave on, the faster they switch back.

**Update**
Nothing picture worthy going on, but me and this guy \/ desived a plan during wake, bake, and watering this morning. Since most of the girls are about 8 inches as of now, we're going to wait on the youngest 3 (1-2 inches) to get to 8 inches and flip to 12/12. Guessing that will be in about 2 weeks and will put the larger girls at 1.5 ft or so.

So happy to finally get a picture of him where he looks like an idiot instead of a beautiful man eater lol

Verdict is in on how awesome my Purple OG Kush pheno is. My buddy smoked it and wanted to know if I already had put a dab of hash oil on it lol. Made me feel real good about what I accomplished!

Hope everyone had an amazing weekend!!!

While I was on vacation this weekend I used shoe strings and gallon jugs of water to keep my girls hydrated. The wick system kept them a little overwatered the whole time resulting in the last remaining fungus gnat repopulating while I was gone. BASTARDS!!!!!! Battling those little assholes again, but they are easy enough so keep at a manageable level.

Other than that, things went well and they grew a lot! Need that other light ASAP!

Got a new bong while I was home too. It's a 32 inch beauty I'm naming Little Lady. Double defused, double helixed and I got it for 5 grams of OG!!

and they can get ugly looking in that phase...UG LEE but all is well when they pop out of it. I did it and a lot of my plant was soo sticky from the sugar that had grown on it while flowering. the veg plant had the sweet aroma all the way til she herself was flowered again

I left one of the revegs in the same spot for a while and it looked like some kind of ornamental plant for a while. Just a wall of oval leaves all pointing the same way. The late clones I took that had to reveg as well were butt ugly, but when they popped out of it they all had 3-6 main stalks.

Yesterday I topped a bunch of the tallest plants to get a more even canopy, or as even as possible with the ones that were super late cuts. Looks pretty good. Once I get them all in 3+gal pots with even height it's going to be beautiful!
