Kingkush Is Back

pppfemguy first off yes you can flower under MH and quite well. why is that funny? I have done it more then once with quite great results. One of those has a 600 watt lifelite 6500k mh digi bulb in it. It looks like a MH cause white balance was used to take the red/orange out of the pic. Yes T5's are def worth it. In fact for moms i like them better. 5 T5's use about half the power of a 400 and alot less heat. Penetration is not as good as HID though but they are cheap. Paid 160 for 5 4 fts plus reflectors and crammed about 20 plants under them.

MH for flowering is not that unusual or as bad as you might think. I'm using MH right now, just because that's what I happen to have. Actually pulse start halide bulbs are superior to HPS as far as a fuill broad spectrum of light goes. (haven't actually done a side x side comparison but so far in my research and from others reports it looks to be the shit...)

I'm ordering a pulse start bulb...

As far as the OP's grow, it looks to me like you could do with a few tweaks to get 100% from your setup but great job, well done just the same.

Ohh why not.. Just a couple pics this is with some of my moms plants literally. I am trying to play god have three different lights that come through out the day at different times" oh by the way this is a veg room for now" It is powered by a 600 watt hps lumintek ballast and a 400 metal hadlide. about to add one more 400 dual spect ballast. but in the morning blue lights , in a couple more hours a little heat, the in about four hour it hits high about 82, for about a hour then the hps turns off a hour later the mh turns off for a down time with just 45 watt shoplight 12 x 4ft bulbs

kingkush, please tell me how you get these stalks so thick. I had stocks that thick once from using the supercropping method. I got 2lbs of 6 plants but it took forever so I stopped the supercropping method.

I can answer that question beacuse those were my moms. Think those are bout 6 months old. Take lots of cuts all the time. Also tables and coco make them blow up. BTW please remove that pic.
