No problem. Agree or disagree it's all based on personal preference & experience.
but I will say this to conclude my side of it.....
if you haven't grown the same strain yourself for 12+ years continuously you cannot speak to a lack of potency or a degradation of the strain over time from successive cloning. (and it's an age old argument that few test but MANY comment on as if they actually know the answer from personal experience on every cannabis board out there)
A mom? Sure..a single plant can only last so long before it's woody and needs replaced for better clone offerings...but that doesnt' at all mean that the strain itself loses potency. (genetic)
While not my fav in the taste Dept...Arcata Trainwreck is s great example. It's been around since the late 70's in NoCal...yet..it still is sought after and kicks most folks in the nutz solidly.
If was true that clones lose potency after succesive runs...this plant would be ditchweed by now.
