I have several xl1000’s that I got a wholesale for testing sometime ago. They sit downstairs gathering dust. I can’t even give them away hardly lol. I sold one for like 300 bucks no one where I’m at wants them. They either build their own, or run gravitas or cmh.
They weren’t bad from the wall they pull on avg about 630 to 640watts they grow but they’re a world away from cobs or qb’s. But they are nortorious for bleaching the piss out of plants. The problem is for the price they’re definitely not worth getting. There are so much better lower cost options out there even beyond the dyi realm.
Lol I get new gear/ lights monthly. I also build my own leds. I don’t need to look you up for good lights. I read your post I was simply making a statement based on my time with the lights. I did see you got aweful defensive about your lights though especially towards cobkits. I feel you came here to talk about your lights you were using and were expecting a better response on your purchase. However burple lights get little love they were outdated before they started.

Did I trash them? I think not. I take your whole “ wanna see good lights,look me up” as beating your chest. I simply said I was good I put my hands on new stuff all the time. Do I have free time oh yah! I’m a network engineer and work for myself so I can always drop in and look around and comment all day. Your simply upset you didn’t get the response you wanted or thought you’d get from the gear you bought. I said they weren’t bad on my first post. I’m glad your able to pull some good stuff using your equipment. If your ever in Michigan let me know I’ll sell you the 4 xl1000’s I have for 400 a piece.
He’s butt hurt after reading this post I’m convinced he came in with a look what I have envy me for my expensive light purchase then got mad because no one cared.
Grow some thicker skin.
Lol right he responded like a child. I mean from his other post he does have some nice lights and yet touts kind like they’re something special.
