Killing off mites after Harvest??

Ok, so I have battled off the mites through harvest, not easy.. Now that I have harvested I was wondering if anyone had ideas on killing off eggs before I start again. I have emptied the room, shut off all lights, for a few days, sprayed everything with bleach and water and now am wondering what my chances are in ridding these bastards for good. I saw no signs throughout the couple weeks before harvest, but once I chopped and hung in the room a few of those bastards came back and climbed to the stem of my upside down plants. I burned all those bastards for all the hell they put me through, I have to admit it felt good, but that also means those bastards are still here and hiding. I sprayed EVERYTHING from ceiling to floor, will this even help, or should I shut it all down for a while?? I found it all started from an infected clone brought into the room. God I'm glad I am passed buying clones now.. Mom's all look good, after a real good treatment and chopping. I have cloned 110 babies with no signs at all. I don,t wanna bring them here if the problem has not ended.. Any ideas, or hope.. Thanks for your time..:peace:

Just when you think the battle is over they will find a way to return. I fight back with pest inhibitor sprays and Pyrethrum foggers.

I heard that when you hang the plants upside down, the mites will go for the top of the plant, which is just a stem at that point, and they die .

I did that through my grow as needed, but now I have no plants in there. The foggers from my understanding do not kill off eggs, but the spray says it does, I used the spray after I bleached just in case, I am now just hoping cleaning everything will take care of it.... Thanks for your reply..

Yes it is true. This is what happened after I harvested. Thats when I got to put fire to their asses!! I am more worried about the eggs.

Be sure to spray every nook and cranny in your grow room. Remove any mylar you may have, spray the walls where the mylar was, then replace with new mylar. A 10% bleach solution should be used to wipe everything down. That's 10% bleach and 90% water. If you still get the mites on your next grow, buy a product called AVID. Its expensive, but your mite problem will be gone ... unless YOU bring some more into the grow room. Mites come in from all kinds of sources ... Your clothing after working in the yard. From your pets after they've been in the yard. From infested clones that you buy at clubs or get from friends.

Avid is sold underground at your hydro shops because avid is not approved for food, and fruit. it is fairly easy to aquire, use serious protection when appling

Use an ultra sonic device.
One that is designed to ward of spiders and insects.:blsmoke:
I'll have to look into that. Has anyone tried the things you put in bird cages to ward off mites. I know there are different kind of mites, but was wondering if that would have any effect to them?
