Killer cloner!

I do the same as i want fresh o2. Because my cloner is sealed up pretty tight .... if you close the lid too fast net cups fly out :)

I wish i didnt throw away the little AIR VENTURI
Part that comes with the water pump.

I believe i could do without added air if i used it :)

If this pump ever dies ill use the venturi from the next one and lose the stones
I’m confused as to how that little air ventur thing would replace air stones in an aeroponic system. I thought the air stones were just to make sure the solution doesn’t go stagnant on an AERO cloner. I understand they serve a multiple purpose in bubblers

I’m sure this question has been asked before and there probably isn’t a definite answer,..like most other things in this hobby ha. What are the reason for why you chose to start using these cloning machines. My reason is purely out of curiosity. I was and still a, very content with the dip and grow method with rockwool, but curiousity got me spending money ha. I’ve always gotten nearly 100 % success with the dip and grow traditional method.

Much faster roots.
No humidity dome.
And the ability to grow these for weeks if you really want to.

There's people that cut the roots and keep growing. The roots get crazy and build a foundation for a great plant :)

Easily transfers to soil, Dwc, coco, anything

You should see the clone i have in my root pruning experiment nasty big root nub

Exactly same thing it adds air to the water before it sprays out .

With a pump it churns it enough just through the spraying i just added stones as i have a fuck tone of stones and little air pumps :)
But i threw the venturi away lol

Yea i turned that on in a heated debate i had a few weeks ago lol

Look up 4 inches is all them girls need in advanced section.

I need to update it i stoped cause i ran into an issue when i switched my nutrients but its back on track now.

Looks shorter then yours but with crazy branching .
And the root nub under the collar is getting pretty big .

Yours are doing sweet :)

Im getting a formula worked out as to how long i need to prune roots for. :)
I tried finding your grow journal or expirements but it sais your profile is limited lol
My stuffs out there you just gota find it ;)

Ill make a journal soon since everything just got the flip 3 days ago

Ditch the tote and use an esky. Will never leak and your water temp will stay more stable. Dont need an air stone in an aero cloner, the spraying creates more than enough oxygen.

Lol damnit, I just drilled a small hole near the top to put air lines for air stones. O well, your system looks legit. It obviously works unless you’re a pro at photo shop. To everyone, here’s what I did, thanks to the suggestion of someone on here. And I lowered my manifold as low as possible (by cutting the vertical pvc tube shorter). Even with the unnecessary hole I drilled for airlines for the unnecessary air stones, it still doesn’t leak after running for about 24 hours now. I didn’t use any type of sealant. I can take the top of with very minimal over spray due to the height and angle that the sprayers are spraying at. Really stoked I didn’t have to do much. Just wish I didn’t drill that hole for the air stones.

The cutting in the pic was just to see if the water covers the stem well. I’m not trying to root it,..although if it forms roots, I can’t run from destiny ha

Do the sprayers alone really keep the cloning water/solution from going stagnant. My though for adding the air stones wasn’t to add oxygen to the roots, but to keep the water mix moving around. I would think it would depend on how big your reservoir is to decide whether you needed air stones or not. A big reservoir seems like it would call for an air stone or two but I could be wrong. Probably am

Dont need it bro. Your pump is pulling water through then spraying it out in a fine mist. There is shit loads of oxygen and the water in the res is moving around loads.

Good stuff, can’t wait to take some cuttings and test this thing out

For sure. Well at least now it will be easy to convert it to a bubbler. Always looking for:that silver lining in my mistakes,..which is why I never make mistakes

Imo unless you have air flow or run sterile it can stagnate ....
But mine is almost air tight :)

Just cause the sprayers churn the water doesnt mean that its refreshing the air in the chamber .

Not arguing just sayin
