It's not good for cannabis. If you use it for cannabis you'll have problems. It's got a bunch of poultry manure in it and you'll have issues. Anyone that compared it to Fox Farms doesn't know what they're talking about. If you have to get soil at Home Depot get the Dr Earth.
Have you actually used it before?
It's fine. I've used it before and didn't have any problems, but I'd add more aeration if you're using bigger pots with it. The bottom of the pot won't dry out fast enough IMO. Or just water it lightly when the soil at the top of the pot dries out until the soil at the bottom dries out some.
I've used it for container plants, flowers and such. Go ahead and use it for cannabis if you want.
This guy knows yea im on my second rrun using it i mixed with extra perlite and am using megacrops full complete 1 step nute powder only issue has been bottom soil wont dry as fast but if u go with the lifting pot approach its easier to tell when most the soil has dried and i water then
I bought some of this stuff for my peppers thinking I could just use water during the seedling stage and wouldn't need to feed them until they grew a bit into veg.
I couldn't even tell you how much I used. That's been well over 2 years ago and a lot of jars of dope lol.
Have you tried Epsoma blends like Garden Tone added?

There is nothing wrong with poultry manure. It's the amount they put into Kellogs. That and all the wood scraps they use. It's great for growing flowers on the patio hence the name "Patio Plus". It definitely is not comparable to Ocean Forest as the OP stated they heard. It's a better choice than some of the other options at the big box stores but I wouldn't use it for cannabis. I also don't use it for container plants anymore because it has so much wood in it that when it dry's out too much the water just runs off and down the sides. It definitely needs to be mixed with additional perlite for proper drainage.
Did you sterilize it first or just use it straight out of the bag?
