you could do a SOG as height is a real problem
angle the tray and have a few small holes at the front so the water runs off in a container
you can fill the the tray with plants in 1ltr pots and flower them at 3-4" high so they only grow 1ft high
a few t5's would work great in this setup

That's a good one also. T5s would be ideal for my situation also . Think hids would take a lot of space up top.
So your saying have how long would you recommend veg.
Or would you just root the clones and the. Flower

yer I would root the clones and pot them in 1ltr pots for a week and flower
but you could top them after the second set of nodes, give them a few days and flower, this way you could use less plants, reduce the stretch in flower and pull a higher yield off each plant
if you use t5's you need to keep the tube 1-2" off the top of the plants once they have rooted as this will keep them short and stocky

Fluorescents in the 8k-10k range are best to start for tight internode spacing, you could also flower super early like sog with no veg, and also look in to using mh with a good red spectrum as this will keep your girls shorter...if you use hps with a weak blue spectrum it makes the plants stretch!

Yea as mentioned before......an indica strain would suit you best .....but......tbh.......with lst being used you will do fine .....weither it's a 8 inch plant or a 5ft plant lst works great.....I just love the way the plant adapts to enable itself to get the best light for itself after being put in the horizontal position....always remember every stem will FIGHT it's way to the light even of it means doubling back on its self.......the pic I've shown is of a plant I had held in veg in anouther room until my tent space(flower room) was free.It's 5ft tall and with the aid of some canes and wire the 6 mains were bent under and kept in the horizontal position allowing all the middle and side branches to catch up(fight for the light)I couldn't get a good pic of the bends but here's one of how it's doing now 3weeks in flower......first pic is when I lst d 2nd is how they r now.....

I'm restricted to cfls/t5s due to space

They are usually sold as aquairum lights or coral aquairum lights for the 10k

Then the mini sog
See what one has the best out come
When I was able to do full size grows I really wanted to try a scrog
But never got around to it
Now seems like the perfect opportunity

Depends on wattage I was lucky to have some old aquarium hoods! From what I remember the light
Spectrum for 6500 is similar to early morning 8000 warm noon and 10000 a hot summer...anything lower is like a cloudy day.. I could be wrong like I said this is from what I can remember

The lower numbers like2700 r the best spectrums for flowering(warm colours)...........6500 and above r mainly blue spec or daylight bulbs as they call them...........better suited for veg.....

I've never flowerd under cfls
But I was aware of using lower specs for flower
Do they have uvb for cfl /floro
Right now my box is a blue ray of light
