Keeping mother vs. Clones

Is it better to keep a mother from seed or does it matter if you just keep cloning a strain? I keep moms I popped from beans but to keep them some what short I hack the shit out of them. I've heard cloning over and over will give u the exact plant each time but I don't know. Not keeping huge moms around would clear up a lot of room. Let me know fellas

i usually take a new cut every 4 months or so and then flower the mother i took it from.. Works for me but i have read about things messing up after many clones of clones but not enough research done to give you any creible info other than i do it and the longest i have is 1 year.

This is what I usually do. Flowering the mother usually results in a beast.

yeah sometimes too much i have just thrown some away before because they were just too big.

not before taking a cut or two of course.

Yea I think just toss the moms and start taking cuts from new clones. I would flower out moms but I've butchered the hell out of them,they are some old girls haha
