Keeping light out/in

Hello RIU, Looking for some techniques you guys have used to keep your grow room sealed from light coming in or out, i'm about to enter flowering and i'm freaking out about my minor light leaks. Sorry in advanced if this is in the Grow FAQ, couldn't find it in there.

I have my setup in my closet, but here is the problem, my closet door isnt really an actual hard wood door, it's a folding type door with flaps up and down the front. i currently have 2 tarps behind it but its not working very well, any suggestions would really help. Thanks

try hammering sum thick comforters up inside and make sure they are overlapping a lot no light i promise..

We are essentially creating a darkroom, so sometimes searching for and studying their techniques to light proof rooms will help as they have good tips and solutions.

let me snatch my room mates phone real quick, yeah my phone doesnt have a camra sue me lol.

I absolutely agree, I use one end of a closet so I framed up a "doorway" and hung a curtain made of a white vinyl heavy duty shower curtain treated with a mildew retardant and backed with black vinyl. The shower curtain was almost dark enough and with the thick black vinyl it's totaly light proof. The curtain splits down the middle and and is fastened with industrial strength velcro.

the light mostly comes out of the whole door, mostly on the sides and bottom where the sweet green towel is. and yes the radiator is pink

wow thats what i was trying to do, but didnt work out so well, thanks for those pictures

Your welcome, by the way, I should mention that I left it about 6 inches long so that it drapes along the floor enough to lay flat and block the light at the bottom.

dam.... maybe seal what you can with tape....

or buy a new closet door
