keep or not to keep

So my friend was growing a plant for a while and then he had to get rid of it, so i took all his stuff and decided to try to grow one. Unfortunately i just found this site and now im wondering if i should even keep mine, i've noticed that mine is tall and doesn't have that many leaves. All help is appreciated. Thanks

if you have a spot to throw it outside and forget about it then do that!like in your yard on the edge of the grass where sprinklers will water it for you or by a stream! but yeah start growing you should do it lol

thanks for the help, this plant is from a seed.
I know you don't think pinching this plant is going to help. Start over with a new seed and get some real lights on your new plants. It's lack of light causing it to stretch out like crazy like that. Pinching/supercropping at this point isn't going to do a damn thing.

big investment, if you wanna do a grow supply right.

1 to 2 k for a hid setup you will settle for (this hobby is addicting)

or a few hundred max, prob 100 for a one plant cfl set up. That includes soil, amendments, and such.

I thought someone should let you know hoe much exactly, more or less, what it takes to make the plants look inside what some of the ones you have seen on this site.

I started like that, an accidental seed popped. Well, sorta, I googled grow supplies and bought random shit before I found this site. This was before the cfl section I think, anyway the hundreds piled up before I got what I really need and what was more experimental. The best way, if you want hids, is to ask and post in the setup section what your space is and your budget. I went HID lights and have the medical smoke I want :) plus cookies.

A nice book if you want some toilet material is jorge cervantes, "five easy gardens".
tho you dont need all that f course.

Ok so i'll be starting over today. I'm unsure on what lights to use and where to get them. I've been reading a lot on here and i'm still unsure of what lights to use. I want to do this one right so if anyone could tell me what lights i'll be needing i will greatly appreciate it. I'm looking to grow 1-2 plants at a time.

Yah mon! I get some of those that shoot up like tulip too, you just gotta attack it head on and show it who's boss.
