KC brains in general, bad marketing?

I know KC brains has had some cup winners. I know Leda Uno at least has won cups. Plus it shows up in some Ed Rosenthal books. The seeds are cheap, I mean price wise, but they must be at least decent, right ?

I used to grow northern lights, back in the early 90's and really miss the strain. It had this great juniper/gin flavor, and even smoking it all the time I didn't get tired of it, still got you pleasantly baked. What I used to grow I got from a guy from upstate New York, he said they were from sensi seeds.

So anyway...kinda baked...the point is, are the beans from KC brains the shit? or are they just shitty?

Im growing kc brains northern lights special and outa the 10 pk i got 6 females 1 dud 1 male and two hermies . on the fifth week flowering ,and nice and easy for a first time grower.Also made 10 cuttings and they all rooted so i think they are awesome. the pic in my sig is the kc brains nl special.
