thanks Kat means alot.. i put in alot of work and effort into this grow.. not to mention money(I Know U Can Relate) .. but everything is going as planned .. will have the chronic in no time..:bigjoint:bongsmilie:peace:
Oh, can I ever relate! I've also been putting in a lot of work and effort, and have had the more-often-than-my-norm immobile days to show for it.... they'd better realize this and pay me back in kind! Your grow photos make me droooooool!!! :p

Im also thinking of getting some master kush -its a tetraploid=it gets its leaves in sets of 3 which means 1/3 more yield. its real cheap too, 36 bucks to ship to us feminized for 5
My Northern Lights's main stalk did the same thing! Tripped me out a bit, but I'm totally cool with it. (Been wondering if this is a typical NL thing, or a fluke.) Really hoping that one's a female, so that the cutting can become a mom. I've got two MK seeds somewhere in my indoor mix. Now I know what to watch for to know when I've got MK babies. ;)

Ive heard of some not perfect germ rates tho?
So far I've had 100% germ rate with Nirvana seeds. All six I've germed have sprouted (not just taproots, but sprouts) in two days. :hump:

Yeah Northern Light is a heavy indica and thats very usual for it.

Cool, I was hoping it wasn't a fluke! Higher yield aside, it just looks quite interesting. :weed:

I've been wondering how much is from the way I germ and how much is from the breeders. I actually germed five Nirvana seeds; forgot that one was from Dinafem. My WW seed sprouted after three days today, which is from Seedsman. Either way, still 100% germ rate so far.

I've bought all my seeds through Attitude. They offer many shipping options. The first time I did the whole "ship in a T-shirt for extra stealth and guaranteed delivery" thing, which is pretty pricey. This time I just had them shipped in a DVD case without paying for the "guaranteed delivery" options, paid a lot less, and still they arrived with no problem in seven days. It really all just depends on how "risky" you want to be, I guess.

RE: how I now germ.... no soaking in water, no paper towels, no handling sensitive taproots. I just put them in rockwool or rapid rooters (etc.), and put those in a plastic food storage container into which I've drilled some small holes at the top and bottom for ventilation, and then keep them in my grow area for warmth. Germed seven seeds this way so far; one took three days to sprout, the rest took two. (Photo from three days after sprouting, and just moved into small "starter" pots. It's a 5 qt. container, and will easily house many rockwool/rooters.)

I would order from Attitude but for some reason they don't carry Jock Horror, so I think im just gonna order straight from nirvana (anyone know what nirvana ships in?).

Ive heard of that way but I didn't have rockwool when I germed my seeds so I just stuck to the good old paper towel method. I have some rockwool now to so I think im gonna do that when those seeds come

They ship in a bubble lined parcel envelope with a crush proof type of postcard.
