has anyone tried using kangen water to treat their problems?

read that it can destroy and prevent all mites, fungus, mold and powdery mildew and leaves no chemical residue on plants nor does it harm the plants in any way.

has anyone tried using this?

would like to hear your experiences and thoughts.

thanks

no one has any experience on this?

ive been reading more and 2.5 ph level should be able to kill mites and prevent mold while a 11.5 ph is good for fungal diseases like powdery mildew.

I've never used kangen water, but it is basically ionized water with a little alkalinity. I looked at water ionizers because they were being touted as a safe and effective cleaning agent. An alternative to bleach in restaurant sanitizing systems.

Does it work? As a sanitizing agent, yes. BUT, you can achieve exactly the same thing by adding a small amount of bleach and citric acid to regular water. Restaurants, hospitals, and other institutions use it because it is easier to handle. They don't need to be trucking in and storing large drums of bleach, which is a hazmat agent, and mixing it onsite.

The ionizing units themselves are expensive. Even a small one can run you $2k.

But for the purposes we want to use it for it is impractical. From an oxidizing and disenfecting standpoint, all you need to do is add just enough bleach that you can neither smell nor taste it, add some citric acid, and use it.

Same effect as paying $40/gallon for fancy pants water.

Easy enough to google if you don't believe me.

Now, will it work on active PM? Does anything? ;)

It will likely work as a good preventative as one step in your ipm arsenal. Plants shouldn't be bothered by it, but be careful to keep it out of the soil and off the roots.

But despite what some internet hacks/dudes claim, it isn't a magic bullet.

Just one opinion of course.

I have a Kangan water machine and have used the 2.5 and 11.5 for both mites and fungal knats. You spray the 2.5 on under side of leafs for mites then few hours latter hit it with the 11.5 have had great success after repeat doses .not so great on the fungal knats it kill them on contact but not the larva in the media did help tho. I use the pH 6 for watering the micro clustered water spreads through the media and get very little run off is weird .have noticed an immediate improvement in plant heath there's some great vids on YouTube about structured water .that's what the Kangan water does structures it and adjusts pH to you choosing . I hope this helps

I'm just starting a new grow and will be using exclusively Kangen water for it. I don't normally have problems with pests since it's hydro and indoors but nice to know it helps with them.
