Kandy Kush & Blueberry Soil Grow

This is my 2nd grow. My first just completed in June and was a hydroponic grow of some auto-flowering varieties from Delicious Seeds (La Diva and La Musa) - went great. Have a new place to set up a permanent grow room, but is just getting started. While the autos were doing their thing, I also grew two mother plants from seed:

(1) Reserva Privada Kandy Kush
(1) Dutch Passion Blueberry

After taking some clones off of them in a hurry while getting ready to move, they got mixed up (doh!) so I have no idea which clones are which. I came up with a lame ass way to keep them separated that failed on me rather than just doing the simple thing and writing on the rockwool wrappers. Lesson learned. I hope that people will be able to help me identify them. I did have to pull a few that were not rooting at all - but the other did pretty well.

Here is how they looked while rooting before being transplanted into pots:

I transplanted them today into pots with Roots Organics Original Potting Soil. Here is what they look like.:

Things are a little crammed in my tiny little tent that was the only thing I could fit in the last place. Plans are to put a 4x8x7' tent in here to flower in and use the smaller tent to clone, veg seedlings and care for mothers. As far as lighting, here is what I am currently using:

(1) 90w LED with 2-watt chips
(1) 135w Blackstar LED with 3-watt chips
(2) CFLs

I also have a fan keeping the air moving and a gnarly exhaust fan and carbon filter that will be moved to the larget tent once I acquire it and set it up. In the mean time here is my plan:

- Feed using Roots Organics nutrients
- Veg for another 2 weeks or so and then flip to 12/12
- Flower for 8-10 weeks based on the plants and their progress

I have a few I need to pot - but they are rooting slowly so it should be okay. I will pot the seedlings when they get a little more of a root system going.

I would appreciate any feedback or help. I am new at this. Have ready a bunch and scoured the online forums to gain as much knowledge, but putting it into practice is entirely a different thing altogether, so please feel free to offer up any help or constructive criticism.

And it would be awesome if anyone can identify the BB from the KK. I have pics from the inet of more mature plants and they seem to look a little different so I am hoping they will differentiate themselves later..

Peace.

That's killer truepunk. I just flipped the switch on the 12/12 last night. Got 11 clones in there so I wanted to keep them small and close together. Here is what they look like crammed in my tiny tent:

Sweet eastcoastmo! Yeah. I am stoked to clone the shit out the NLB for the next grow. I should have a 4x8x7' tent by then to have a bunch of ladies going in there. Sounds like an awesome Indica strain that I am dying to try. But I am also super excited for the Kandy Kush and Blueberry that I have running now. I am way new to this, but man this is a blast!!

Nice Sirsmokesabunch! I would definitely like to swap notes and experience. I am going to take a few clones off the TD once the mother I am growing from seed has veg'd for a couple of months and see what happens.

End of 2nd week of flowering. Everything is looking good. Still feeding the Roots Organics - which has been very simple and so far the results are great. Plants look healthy as fuck. I know that if I hung some 1000W HPS in there I would get more yield and whatnot, but I do this for my own personal use and actually like having to grow a bunch of plants. Very cathartic :)

So here are the girls as they look today. Super stoked on how things are turning out. Doing some training - both tying down as well as pinch/bend just to experiment a little. So far, all have responded well to the training and a nice even canopy is starting to form. Love this shit! Hoping the pheno of the DP Blueberry I cloned from will get some bluish tones to the leaves or buds so I can tell them apart from the KK.

And here are the three mothers I am growing from seed. From L to R they are Tangerine Dream, Northern Light Blue and C99.

Peace.

I ended up buying a few tangering dream and so far I'm not to happy with the genitics. I don't think it's very stable yet. I think that one is going to stay outside. Kandy kush on the other hand looks great ! I took clones off her before she went into flower. Very happy with the way it grows. I do recomend topping once and the LST the shit outta her, she'll fill in nice. You get the freebie or did you buy a pack of them? Anything you want to know just ask and I'll give you any advice to what I know so far... As of right now mine is about 2 feet in a 5 gallon container with only pre-flowers so far. Anything interesting you've noticed you want to share?

I actually bought a single seed of KK and grew her while some automatics (my first grow - La Diva and La Musa) did their thing. The seed produced a very, very vigorous and healthy mother plant. The clones were really strong. I only veg'd my clones for like 3 weeks and then switched to flower due to the size of my tent - within one week every single plant had multiple flowers and were stretching nice. A few of the clones really took off and I have been training the stems to keep the canopy even. I really didn't understand LST when I started this grow (totally a newb), but next grow I want to try it out. Only just over 2 weeks into flowering so I am excited to see how things progress. I will keep posting pics up here and will let you know of anything I encouter.

That's I have some auto's too. I'm running Think Different and Cheese now.. They are both about a week or so from the chop right now.. They both stink but the cheese is ultra stinky nasty, I love it! You know that you can LST through out the whole plants life and it does nothing but benefit you and the plant? Once it's flowering you have to be a little more careful cause that's when the stock is easier to snap. Just make sure to tie down at each TIP helping it gently where you want it to go to let light inside. I recommend LST over every other method, It's easier on the plant. Give me an idea of what you are using like Lights, nute's and anything else in your mix.

I have two led's - one is a 90w with 2w LEDs and the other is 135w with 3w LEDs. I supplement with a couple CFLs as well. I have these in Roots Organic original soil and using Roots Organics nutes. So far I really like them.

Here is a look at the plants at 3 weeks into flowering. Definitely two distinct group of plants. One group has very glossy leaves and have started to produce quite a bit of crystals on the buds and leaves. The others have duller leaves and have just barely started to show signs of trichomes forming around bud sites. All are doing well, I think. Still feeding the Roots organic with a pH adjusted to about 6.5 Still don't know which plants are which strains, but definitely able to identify one from the other at this point.

Here are the ones with glossy leaves and lots of crystals (for week 3):

And here is what the other group looks like:

Looking good man - I just have one tip for you - looking at your plant - I think you need to add a little more N to the mix - they seem a little pale to me.

Holy shit! You are way better at this than me. Ha ha. Looks awesome.

Thanks for the tip Widow! I will hit them with some more of the grow nutes to see if that helps. Really appreciate the input! :bigjoint:
