I have some spotting on a couple of the upper fan leaves on the almost finished plant. I have aphids but i also have 1500 lady bugs to kick there butts.
This plant stretches and the nodes tend to get far apart when they stretch to much. But the over all ease in which they grow is great. I topped most of them and some i didnt this time. I have 8 that are at most 3 weeks from harvest (if you can tell me by the picture that would be great) I had a moment of complete paranoia and got rid of all my notes. So I dont have the exact dates started down to memory. I have 5 groups going also 8 finishing up soon. 15, 3 weeks into flower, 14 more 2 weeks into flower.
One of my "?s" is , "can I completely remove all the lower growth except the top 2 nodes ?" My reasoning is the tops grow so well and all of the lower buds never seem to do as well i was hoping that this would force the plant to concentrate on growing the tops bigger and better. In this pic there is 3 small plant. 2 of them are my first 2 ever clones done in soil, and the last is trimmed all the way to the top two nodes.
All of these plants big and small (save the 2 clones) were put into force flowing at about 7 inches. I know some people do not like this way but to each his/her own. I am doing it because I had a very good guerrilla grow this year and i had a Kandy Kush female get pollinated by a male LA Woman. I have roughly 2000 seeds. I harvested the seeds july 1st 2010, replanted 20 of the that same day 15 fem 5 male. I harvest the same 15 females Sept 29th completely done. Original seeds came from Attitude seeds. Anyhow they grow between 2 1/2 ft to 6ft.
My grow space is very simalar to an attic with the a frame shape. I want all plants to be done at no bigger than 3ft plus the 8inch container. I am a noob in most phases of this and welcome all input to help me learn more.
I am doing this for money to survive in a poor economic area. So i am tring to get the most out of my space. .
I use really big domestic cfl bulbs (8 to 12) on a homemade setup. I use this as the 24 hour veg room. These Bulbs are domestic but the biggest domestic cfl's you can find. 20$ each at lowes. They work great !
Anyhow I am kind of all over the place with the post but im just excited to share my work. (on a free wifi 5 towns from home )
Thanks for any and all feed back.
I have learned alot from viewing this site. Thanks.GC
