So I went to my local feed store and was looking at what all thru had..they are usually expensive ad fuck for a lot of stuff...but I'm gonna throw some prices and items at yall and see weather or not I should look elsewhere or just snag em up...they said on the phone they had alfalfa seed but didn't ...so the owner is gonna order me some...ar 3.25 a lb...for sst of course ...and I had him order some barley seeds at .50 a lb..the last thing he ordered for me was alfalfa meal and idk how much it wad..I bought some pellets for 15.00 for 50 lbs...I asked him about molasses and he has it all the time for .50 a lb..which sounds like a good deal to me...I think he had it in a huge container ...u gotta bring your own container to get it...would this be the right kinda molasses and am I getting a good deal ..an average deal..or getting butt fucked on all of the stuff I mentioned...please chime in and tell me anything u can..ty

Not sure about the prices over there, but everything you listed sounds damn cheap to me, you do need to make sure it's blackstrap unsulphured molasses, some cheaper molasses is extracted using sulphur, you need to avoid this

I hear it's better to use alfalfa meal instead of pellets for teas ...can I mash up the pellets and get the same effect?...I could get an old blender if necessary ...they had corn seeds as well ...a bunch of different kinds...I would assume that they all would be ok so just get the cheapest, right? I figured they would be cheaper than like 3.50 a lb...idk how much weight a quart mason jar usually holds or what the weight of the seeds should be for a sst ....if anyone would have any idea how much seeds ( by weight ) they usually go through in a season per plant or any sort or measurement that would be helpful...I just want to buy up everything ahead of time...I'm super excited to see one of these sst's in action..
