Just switched to RO with coco dtw. Low runoff ec normal?

Hi.
Just switched to RO after using about 200-290ppm tap water the last decade. The hydro store claimed massive yield increases.

Ok from using tap water my past grows, I've noticed the ec in is always building up so I'd have to go 1/2 strength nutes regularly. However for the past entire week with RO, I've fed ec 2.0 (week 5 flower atm) and my runoff ec ranges from 0.8-1.1 ec with minimal runoff too. Is this normal for RO water? Should I be going up to ec 2.5 even? I'm putting like 1 litre of A and 1 litre of B with my 240L nute tank.
Anyone gone from tap to RO noticed there's no salt builds up anymore?

How many times per day are you feeding? The low EC just shows that your plants are eating. With coco, you don't need to feed high EC, instead you just feed more often.

I was feeding about 6-7 times a day, my pots are 12 gallons too.
Is this a normal thing with RO since I've always experienced EC rise in the medium with tap water.
Could it be my EC is low because my pots and plants are quite big? (they're sized to yield over #1.2 each).
I know most people on the forums grow a lot smaller and use smaller pots which might determine different EC feedings and such.

I was totally wrong.
Leaving my EC meter on the pot saucer measured extremely low, but using a syringe and taking out 100ml to measure the runoff it was actually quite high. Strange but the salt does indeed build up.
