just switched to flowering

Here are some pics of two out of the three plants i have. 5 weeks old i dont want them to get too tall. I left the third one in veg because i am LST'ing it and i want it a little bigger before i start to flower it.
I have them under a 250HPS, man does that thing warm up my box, i really need to go find a fan to cool it down today, i forgot to turn the furnace on last night and it was 54F in my house, 30F outside, but plants were 90F nice and warm for them. too WARM

I have one is topped, one is regular, just trying to see the growth/yield difference, can anyone tell me SEX of plant, i dont think they are showing sex yet, but maybe some of you experts can tell..

Rule of thumb is about 8 weeks to be able to pre sex but, if you just switched to 12/12 you should see in about two more weeks

i switched to 12/12 2 weeks ago and i noticed with mine that the males showed there sex first and my only female just showed earlier this week. hold tight and get some girl names ready!!

ill be thinking of names!! this is so exciting, night 2 of 12/12 haha!!!!

Oh quick question, i read here that plants are ready to flower when they have alternating nodes, is that only on the main stems or on any branch? BECAUSE i went to go look at my plants again and they both have alternating nodes, you can see an example of one in my PICS #3 of this thread... the right side of the picture shows a branch with alternating nodes.. any who very excited. thanks everyone!!!! thanks RIU!!!

I need some advice, im leaving for two days and i dont have a baby sitter, if this is a female and the other in the grow box is a male, (no signs of sex on other plant) can it pollinate my female in just two days even though they are probably pre sex??
