I just replaced all my T5 blue spectrum (6 total bulbs, 12k lumens) with red spectrum bulbs. Went to 12/12 at the same time and it's been about five days now. I'm not noticing any significant chances in my babies (should I be?). At least two of these were Nirvana feminized white rhino (probably the two shorter ones?) and I'm not sure what the other two are as they were "free" seeds from Nirvana. I suspect as tall as they're getting (in comparison to the other two) that they are not white rhino and could be male. So far, no signs of sex that I can see.

Is it normal for there to be a lull between the time that flowering cycle is started and the time that things start to happen? Just curious. Any feedback much appreciated!

with different strains it can take up to 2-3 weeks before you might see a change

make sure you don't have any light leaks either

keep em green

I am definitely not having any light leak - they are in a room above the second story and adjacent to the attic. It's pitch black in there.

They look healthy to me. I'm feeding "light" nutes every other watering. Do they look good to you?

Thanks bro...

They look a little smallish. Growing from seed involves flowering mature plants. When I am cloning as opposed to growing from seed, I know that once the plants have rooted, they can go directly into flower. Growing from seed, the plants have to be mature (usually indicated by alternating nodes) before they will begin to flower. This means that the plants will continue to grow until mature and then begin their flowering cycle. It adds extra time to the process. When I place a mature plant into flowering cycle I usually see signs of flowers in 10-14 days. Yours may all start flowering at different times depending on how mature they are.

Two are definitely a lot bigger than the other two. I know white rhino is supposed to be a short, bushy plant. The guy at the local shop told me to flower then when they were about 12", as I didn't want them to get much taller than two feet. I guess we will see how they do. They grew remarkably well during the veg stage, but I'm prepared for this state to take a little longer. If I had waited until true maturity, I think I would have ended up with plants much larger than I could handle. I've got good vent on them and they have very thick, sturdy stems. Guess we will see how it goes.

At 12,000 lumens, I just hope I have enough light.

Based on your evaluation, should I add a blue spectrum light or two...or should I just keep them all red?
