Just spotted a odd hermie...Question

A bit of background:

The below mentioned plants are in 90/10 coco/perlite with canna nutes and 600w HPS 12/12

I had a AK47 that began with a very rough seedling phase. A unnamed stoned person fed it full strength nutes instead of seedling nutes even though the jugs were clearly marked. :( Long story short this poor lady was stressed above and beyond normal stresses. Anyhoo she grew out of it and I took 2 clones then flowered her. Within 2 weeks I noticed a few balls mixed in with normal female growth and chopped her. I thought perhaps her early stresses had triggered her to go herm.

Fast forward a month and I decided to flower one of the surviving clones just to check. All was well for the first 30 days with strong growth and nothing but female preflowers popping out everywhere. She had began to stack pretty well up top and started budding with vigor beginning last week. During this time I had been pulling it out nightly and inspecting it extremely well for male flowers and had found nothing...Until tonight! During my routine inspection I noticed that a lower preflower had 3 banana tips just barely beginning to poke out. I ended her life immediately.

I know this is long winded, but I like to be thorough. i'll get to my question already: The bananas that I spotted were still green and inside the preflowers for the most part still, but I have this bastard flowering with my beautiful white widows. Upon further inspection I noticed that mostly all the preflowers were beginning to develop male parts, but at most just the tips were emerging. Is there much of a chance that the immature male parts could have dispersed any pollen? I've had hermies before, but I didn't catch them nearly this early. I could use some of that Obama hope. Any thoughts fellas?

doubt it. If there's no pollen then no fertilization. unless you have an 'immaculate conception'. Hey maybe the second coming is in your grow!lol

Seriously though, just to be sure: Spray em down with water. That will wash the pollen away.

Thanks for the advice. I had taken my clone mister and given the area a once over as soon as I chopped her down. Not even sure why I am being hyper paranoid about it. I mean I have 22 days left to go so the WW buds are mostly devoid of fresh pistils. Just hate failure is all I guess.

Unless your worried about seeds I wouldn't have killed it most the time you get a hermaphrodite it comes from stress which can come from changes in the light cycle or any other wide range of things indoors. All females can morph out and carry hermaphroditic genes that can pop out especially in f4-5 generation strains. I would make sure your soil ph is good 6.8 is good. I had a timer go bad on me and found out after filled those and then I ended up w grey mold. It killed everything but I knew the seeds i got would help sense they are feminized after that as the seeds are going to be 90% feminized
