I'm listening to the southern California Air Traffic control feed. While it was still light out, I checked out the window when there was a departure to see if it's coming from LAX or not.

where im from they announce dui checkpoints in advance on the news all the time. im not sure but i think they have to tell you about them. funny thing is that even though they tell everybody where and when there going to be people still get caught all the time.. most people dont get caught for dui though they get caught with warrants and other bullshit like that

i would be a lot more excited if i could hear anything. i have been listening for 5 minutes and it's just white noise. i live in a city of almost 300,000. it can NOT be this quiet on a saturday afternoon. i think the cops here are just plain lazy. the other nite they were here for some neighbors and there were paddy wagons and cruisers everywhere. a neighbor downstairs from me (unrelated to the incident) started having a domestic dispute that ended up in outside in the yard, screaming, loud threats, very loud scuffling, some metal object hit something. this was clearly audible to the police. those fat useless fucking donut heads SCATTERED like roaches. way to serve and protect.

funny follow up. i've only been listening for about 20 minutes and i already heard a cop refuse to go to a "disorderly" 1 street over from where he was because he was "done with this area" (rough neighborhood). i feel so safe now. how the fuck does the cop think it feels to actually LIVE THERE? this is very entertaining. this site is the best thing ever. i was actually going to drop 200 bucks (on sale from 250) on a gizmo to get these feeds. any techy nerds know if it's still worth the investment? what can the fancy machine do that i might not get on that website?
