Like the title said.

Anyone ever dealt with this company for customer service? I'm seriously thinking of packing that lemon right away and sending it back and demand a refund. One screw wasn't even actually screwed on the case. It was just in there and fell when I took the thing out of the box. It can't be screwed back on either, the hole is too big.

What do you guys think? Do I even try to get this thing to work or should I just send it back and demand a refund?

Any ideas, suggestions, recommendations?

EDIT: after searching a lot, I realized this has happened to other people. Apparently, the power supplies can be knocked loose during transportation. The box I received was pretty banged up and even had a boot mark on it (DHL is the worst shipping company in the world, they handled the box like it was trash).

I talked to Dave from GrowPerfect, he sent me two replacement power supplies (I just need one) the same day. They should get here within a week.

I'll update when I receive them.

Update:

I received parts 4 days after telling GrowPerfect about my problem. No instructions but I'm used to this stuff and I replaced the faulty power supply. The light works. It's insanely bright.

Update: after a month of veg, my plants are at a whopping 3.5 inches tall. Perfectly healthy, but they don't fucking grow. Absolutely no signs of deficiency or toxicity. Perfect and uniform green color.

This lamp will bleach my plants at 3 feet above the canopy at full spectrum. It's been at 4 feet above the plants for 2 weeks. 4 FEET. THAT'S RIDICULOUS. Every Monday I try to lower it to 36 inches, tips start to turn white within two hours. I switched to full spectrum after two weeks of blue only and absolutely zero growth (1 tiny set of true leaves in two weeks).

I have a 6 foot tall tent. I need 3.5 feet of distance and the top of my pots is 10 inches. That leaves me with 20 inches of possible height. Even with a Scrog, maybe I'll get a god damn ounce out of 4 plants if I'm lucky. I'm starting to think the grow journals I saw using the mag+ were complete fabrications. There is not a single variable that is problematic except this lamp.

Canna coco, preflushed, 3 gallon Smart Pots, precleaned.

Reverse Osmosis water at 5.8, no variance, 22 degrees Celsius.

Biggest temperature variance during the day: 0.5 degree Celsius, climate controlled room. Day/night temp DIF: 5 degrees Celsius.

Biggest humidity variance during the day: 5%.

Using Botanicare Pure Blend Pro Grow (5 ml/gal) and Liquid Karma (2 ml/gal), and GH's CaliMagic (2 ml/gal). Ridiculously low, I know. But that's because they're still the size of 2 week old plants and show no signs of needing any more.

I've never had such perfect growing conditions in 10 years. I use to grow with excessive heat and big variances throughout the day. The same strain (dr greenthumb's Bubba OG), is usually about 12-15 inches tall at this time (with a shitty old 250 watt MH that costs 50 $).
