So I just made a cloner for under $40. So happy!!!

I have a lot of clonex left from doing cubes. Can I get away with only using clonex and not anything in the water? Down the road I will get some but I just sent my plant into 12-12 yesterday so I want to pull clones and start them. I wont be able to make it to the grow store for at least 2 weeks.

Help please.

i run plain water in my cloner. dont ph it or anything. once a week i put some h2o2 in it to make sure nothing funky grows and thats it. anything else is wasting money.

Good lookin out SilkWiLL13 That's what I was wanting to hear. I Dipped them anyway, because I had Clonex sitting around. I bet it already washed off.

I don't use anything in my cloner water, ever. And nothing on the clones. Just keep your water temps 75-80 and mist a few times a day. You'll see roots in 5-7 days. after the roots start the water temps need to go down to 68-70 to stop rot.

depends on what cold is. I would try to Keep temps as close as I could to reg temp. But I set it up get the air going and place the clones. from fill to up and running is about 1/2 hour just cuz I'm sloww.

cool water shouldnt be an issue. and i dip my cloned in powder before i put them in. it takes a day of 2 for the powder to wash off. ive done side by side w/o powder and the powdered clones root a couple days faster.

So my roots are coming in SLOW. I have had one in for 2 weeks, and one that has been 8 days. nothing. I just planted one that took 14 days to see anything. Is there something wrong?

I did screw up and nut, before I pulled a clone. I guess I should have waited a week no nutes to pull clones. Could this be causing the issue?

I got roots in 5 days.
But only once. Now I'm lucky to see roots in 10-14. I think it has something to do with water temp. I has trying to clone for over a month with no luck at all. The ac got turned off and everything in the cloner rooted overnight. I was just ready to toss that bunch. The roots grew like hell for a week then root rot set in. saved all but 1. Two are still a bit sick the other two are doing great.

seem's like it's around 80-85. I'm to new at this to say for sure. But so far the cloner likes to be much warmer then the rest.
