subway around here is pretty good. i love the smell of the place. it always has that delicious deli smell. i have shops that have way better food but not for that price. subway is a little stingy with the meat but pretty good shit. but as far as chain sandwich shops go i'm all about d'angelo's.
 
do you have a "port of subs" in your area?

their sandwiches are the freshest in taste and quality... omg... there's absolutely no comparison.

TGI Fridays had this sandwich for awhile while I worked there a couple years back. This thing actually killed caused a couple heart conditions no joke
Triple stacked burger: a juicy beef patty with a zesty red pepper pimento blend of sharp Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses, topped with ham, crispy bacon, pickles and more cheese, all stacked on a toasted bun and served with fresh home-style potato chips. Me and my buddies who worked there would take this thing and throw a deep fried chunk of provolone cheese on top

I don't like sandwiches cut all the way through...makes it messy...and I don't like bread that light colored..usually too yeasty for me...

i agree about sammy's being cut like that, way too messy for my slob ass, lol.. do you remember the old skool subway way of cutting the rolls where they just barely cut the top off of the rolls and stuffed the rest w/ meat?? i don't know when or why they got away from doing it that way..

Subway is the Good shit. I'll have to try that sandich combo you listed. I like the footlong steak and cheese egg sandwich in the morning. Humongous sandwiches are one of the few things that will completely satisfy a munchies attack
 
Subway is gross, especially if the hired help is recomending mixing BBQ sauce and their nasty ass mayo. Its walmart & mcdonalds mixed together to create lousy tasting sandwiches. Cheap cuts of crappy meat to fill the stomachs of the masses at the cheapest price possible and still get filthy rich by a mega corporation.

Find a family owned deli if possible and support them.

my question is...if they are always $5, then why is October, 5dollartober or whatever they call it... its like they always act like its a special now...when its the regular price.
 
I like the meatball with provolone, but my absolute favorite is the subway club, with spinach, nothing else. Well, I mean, salt + pepper, and parmasean. Provolone cheese and on a sourdough roll.
Its pretty healthy for you too, especially since I leave off all the sauces and bad shit
