hey guys i was reading in jorge's grow bible that molasses during the last 6 weeks of flower adds 20% weight to your buds. i've also heard great reviews of this method! just one question...would i continue giving the flowering nutes i've been using in addition to the molasses? or cut out the other ones altogether in favor of the molasses? anyone with experience let me know!!!

you can use the molasses for your "fresh" waterings if your alternating waterings with fresh water and nute water, every other watering. You can give them nutes and molasses, but the last few weeks you should stop the nutes. and just use molasses water.

ok this was what i was gonna go for.....cut my nute does by like 30-40% and add the nutes with it. then last week or two just molasses...what do you think?

this guy (https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/7636-more-info-molasses.html) says 2 tbs per gallon...thats what i'm gonna try every other watering. in between molasses i'm gonna use my nutes that i have been using. gonna do that for another two weeks and then just molasses. finally a good little flush the last week. here's my babies right here if you'd like to check it out....https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-growing/305478-what-do-you-guys-think.html. i will be updating that thread through harvest. stay tuned!

I heard you can give them molasses all the way through without a flushing and it adds a sweeter taste to the buds??? no nutes of course but keep the molasses water as your flush water?

yeah i just read recently that the molasses actually aids in the flushing. if this is true then i'ma use it all the way through to harvest

well hers whats up with molasses its a carbohydrate but to complex for plants to absorb until its broken down into a simpler form but what it does it makes it easier for the plant to absorb nitrogen and improves the overall vigor of the plant during the later stages of flowering the plant is mainly going though cell enlargement cells can swell up to 700 there original size plants leaves might turn yellow during this time as she moves her nitrogen supplies form her leaves and truns them into carbohydrates and sugars molasses helps return those nitrogen sinks in the plant give her more food to make more sugars and carbs / optimality leading to a heathery plant
molasses's can be used in veg to and its great food for microbes
