Just harvested Ice. pics!

Hey guys, just harvested my girls, 4 plants. Three were Ice strand, and one was unknown bagseed. I'm pretty happy with the yield so far, never had to much weed in my life, feel like a freaking Rockefeller!! Stoked with the fact that this is my own growth, toking your own grown-at-home bowl is something else man! Oh, the last pic isn't the total I got from 4 plants, that's mostly wispy popcorn bud I got when I trimmed.

own grown is the shit.. you appreciate the smoke a lil more... i just ran out of my first batch... so im smoking shit i paid for... this sucks...

plus those buds look nice... let me know how it smokes..

Thanks guys, I'm super excited about toking up the cured smoke, I want to do it the right way, 7-10 days drying, 8-10 days burping the cans. Been getting samples, smoke is sweet and it it tastes delicious, leaves a tasty aftertaste in the mouth heh, not sure how else describe it.

This was my first grow ever, did it in hydro and a few in soil, and hydro worked fantastically, soil not so much. Think I did pretty good for a first timer, RIU was the best source of info, no bullshit. Didn't LST or prune or anything, probably will try that on the next growth.

Budz do look nice. Is pic 1 and 2 right before you harvested? If so wait a lil longer next time. looks like it could have used a little more flower time. Congrats on the success

im no expert but when curing the buds u should not pack them in tight into jars u should fill 3/4 of the jar with buds so u can give a lil shake and move them around 2 diff position... to stop the mold!

Yeah the brown leaves are trimmed, but I was wondering how people trim, do you cut all the leaves out or just the big fan leaves? Cause the little leaves under the buds have so many trichs on them, feels like a waste to cut them off, though would probably make some good hash or cannabutter or something.


EverythingISayIsPretend: Yeah, those pics were about a week-10 days before harvest. I harvested as soon as I saw amber trichs turn up, I went up to 9-1/2 weeks flowering, even though Ice is supposed to be 8 wks, but it's all good, love the buds, can't wait for the cured smoke, so far this shit has been getting me and my gf messed up, so that's awesome

soil takes a while longer than hydro or other but worth waiting. are you in soil? anyways i agree its hard triiming trichrome covered leaves but save and make hash or edibles. the buds for smoking will have great visual appeal when cleanly trimmed and smoke cleanly if you flushed properly and will also have less possible mold outbreaks happy growing
