Just got a clone. Now what

So I just had this clone givin to me guy says it’s a cut from his granddaddy purple fem. I’ve never got clones before never grown em either always from seed. it’s in a solo with some soil and a rock wool cube. Should I leave just leave it in there let it grow a awhile, I wanna put it in a 5 gal fabric pot with promix No clue how old it is or anything

put it in a 5 gallon pot under a 125 watt or 250 watt cfl and let it grow. It looks like a stretchy plant so it may need some room. i dont know ive never grown that starin before but it looks lanky. if the roots are not established put a humidity dome (bottom of a large coke bottle will do.
slowly add more holes to the coke bottle and then remove the humidity dome. it will be kickin in no time.

looks like summer time should put it outside i grew some gdp outdoors one year the one plant got almost as big as my car just dig a hole put some nice soil in the hole drop the clone in and let nature do its thing

That’s what I’m doing right now it’s in it’s own 2x2

Tbh it’s the rock wool I don’t like lol just hurry it and will it hurt to break the dirt away from the roots it’s barely into the soil on one side of the cube couple root sprouting down. I just don’t. Wanna kill it but soil doesn’t look to good.

Let it develop more roots by letting the rock wool almost dry

Wrap the rock wool in dry soil

I'd let it root up for a while. Throwing that small of a cutting into a 5gal pot will likely lead to it being over watered. Plus watering 5gal takes more water and nutrients than a way smaller pot which would support all the same growth at this stage.

Trim off that top wool, quarantine it, grow it, smoke it

GDP is my favorite strain, why I cross it with everything

Thanks all I tore all the wool off and I put it in. 2 gal fabric pot for now. Was gonna leave it but the solo cup was cut I. A few spots n when I grabbed it it all started falling apart so I threw it in a 2 gal mixed some worm castings and some promix and a light dressin 4-4-4.I’ll post back in a few weeks with its progress
