I would make some nice butter with it.
Good points. A "floor" made from plastic or tarp could help.Make sure the structure is strong enough to withstand wind, and covers the plant but does not trap moisture inside. It's a delicate balance between covering them and keeping air flow. A "cover" will keep rain off, but will do nothing to "keep out" humidity, at least not here in the NW. If you go full cover/greenhouse (i.e. cover from the ground up) be sure to have fans running in there. Just evaporation coming up off the wet ground is enough to support mold, and putting up a structure this late in the season will be built on a damp ground.
Yesterday, I had to begin cropping, my cola tops were beginning to get bud rot on one of my plants... I had to cut out bud rot and remove all the nugs off stem and I put in drying rack with a fan... I hope I got it all..I'm glad I checked, it happened over night it seems...I'd keep a close eye on them and push em a little longer.
Sometimes that shit gets out of hand in just a matter of hours...I lost pounds to that shit this year.Yesterday, I had to begin cropping, my cola tops were beginning to get bud rot on one of my plants... I'm letting my pineapple kush ride it out without any help. I'm hoping the wind will knock off the excess water. We shall see.I am going to try and tough it out with my cover and misted the plant with this...
I have already harvested two plays with plenty yield...so this one Agent Orange is straggling!
crossing fingers hoping it lasts !

The Pineapple Kush will probably need another 2 weeks at least. I could have covered it with a painter's dropcloth supported by sticks but I figured the wind whipping that around may have be worse than the rain. The plant is healthy and budworms have been minimal so who knows? I harvested the A grade colas from my Pennywise yesterday and have left the B grade and popcorn to see if I can get a little amber color in the trichomes. At least in Ashland the storms are supposed to be separated by semi clearing periods which might save the day.How far along is your Kush? I really like my Agent Orange and really want to see it make it to harvest...I will do everything I can to see that happen! Well within reason! The wind is going blow hard here tonight and tomorrow! I even tied my cover down to my shed!
Good luck with that Backyard dirt!
Cheers
I chopped mine same deal it was early but bad weather here also had to goToday I found a tiny bit of budrot on 3 of 4 plants. The weather is just going to get worse.
Are they close enough? Should I take them down?
