I had a Lab/Rot/Pit mix in the 80's that was a wicked child protector - the guys at the station called him 4 wheel drive cause he could actually climb trees. My kids were playing on the tire swing in the back yard when a teen running from the PD in Louisiana (stolen car) jumped the fence - Bru came out from under the house & ravaged the kids ass & legs before he made it over the fence.
A bit later a black La Sheriff showed up & asked me "Sir, did your dog bite a n....r today? Stunned I started into the story knowing what was going to happen & he interrupted me and said "so he was running at the chilren?", realizing what was happening I said "Yes sir, he was running at the children".
"Sign your statement here and have a nice day sir".
Never heard another word about it.
