Just came across this on ebay.... interesting!

anybody familiar with these lighting systems??? sounds impressive but I wouldn't even consider it until I get some feedback from you guys!!! One thing that worries me is that it says it's powered by a high frequency electromagnetic field and I don't want to be causing interference in any way to my neighbors cell phones, cable, etc.... anyway.... would love to hear if anybody has any experience with these!!

Induction lighting is a new technology, which is supposed to be highly efficient. I don't know a lot about it yet, but I do think that the 420w induction light in the listing would match a 1k HID. It seems that they are working on the spectrum still, and the one in the listing says it's good for flowering too, but I thought they were just mostly good for veg. Again, it's a new technology. If I was rich, I would definitely get one, but alas I'm not rich, so I'll stick to the 600w HPS I got in exchange for 4 hours of trimming work.

Buy one and try it! If nothing else you have an awesome veg light for life. Come on, everyone's doing it......lol

I got a RFQ from a chinese manufacturer for 400w bi-spectrum fixtures (look just like indagro) $275ea@100pc quantity (shipped 7-10 days) . Find 98 other people that wanna try these and we'll place an order. (good luck!, lol)
(about a 300% mark-up on indagro's part, no wonder no one is trying these)

interesting technology, they make a pretty extensive explanation on their site supported by scientific facts
the question here is really; does their product deliver what they theoretically claim to have achieved with PAR Induction EFDL
soon enough someone is going to run this setup and i hope shares with us his findings.

It sounds VERY interesting... I just don't know it it sounds $700 interesting...lol!!! I just love the specs this thing claims to throw with very little heat or electric footprint, relatively speaking... as tempting as it is I know it's smart to wait and get some grow reports with one of these suckers~

PJ.... interestingly enough it's not new technology at all.... in fact the patent belonged to Nikola Tesla....in the late 1800's I think... the more I read about this the more I want to be STUPID....lol!!! always nice to see you PJ

I've been a big fan of Tesla since I found out he's a vampire. I'm very tempted to try these out. I'll call them Tesla lights and when they come on i'll say in a loud godly voice "LET THERE BE LIGHT" like i'm some kind of vampire plant god. ya

1000w hps is prob too much for my grow 2.5'x4'x(a bit of 5' and a bit of 8') so I'd be fine with it not performing as well as they claim. Do they make smaller watts?

they do in fact make smaller units.... but not cheap, no matter how small you go.... but here's the link~

Thanks for the link. Those circular 200w bulbs remind me of a bulb my grandfather had in a small office. When you turned it on the thing sounded like it was gonna explode for 30 seconds before it lit. I think that bulb ran for 30 years... and the only reason it stopped working was cause the place burned down.

The amount of light a plant receives, has a direct impact on its growth rate. Most plants tend to grow faster when available light increases, however their maximum growth rate is achieved at a substantially lower amount of sunlight than 2,000 micromoles. The point at which a plant receives more light than they can utilize, is known as the Light Saturation Point. For most plants, the optimum level of PAR lighting is approximately 500 micromoles per square meter (~55 micromoles per square foot), and if these plants receive much over that, they can reach the point of light saturation.

the Inda-grow induction is 700umol at 12" and 600umol at 24". average 500umol/m2.

no doubt its a game changer!
its strange to me that they decided to explicitly target our market
if you check their youtube channel, they talk about the light and technology
then 90% of their examples driven directly from MMJ and directed at MMJ growers
there are so many other application for this, why only MMJ market?

I've decided I'm going to get that 200w replacement for 600-800w hps from the site I linked. I emailed them and they seemed interested in giving me a discount if I report on how it performs to you guys. They asked for my adress so they can calculate shipping costs. So either I'm getting a discount or a visit from the law.

... not that i'm doing anything illegal... jus growing tomatoes... yup

def let us know after i dont believe this for some reason. Try not to get sucked into their scheme if he product is shit. I think the last thing anyone wants is a bad product that a company paid the guy to promote.
