yeah it has a digital screen with 2 buttons to move the temp up and down and 1 button to set it.

I should try hitting both sides at once . . . . . . :D

You need to be over 350 .. I use 401 and never had a problem ..For whatever reason my vape dont go to 400 it goes from 399 to 401 ..its digital too

yeah, I'm planning on modding it too. like putting in a 3-way switch to turn off 1 or the other (middle position for both on.) then another switch to simply turn it off allowing me to have it plugged in.

I'm sure it being a simple circuit it wont be very hard to do.

Your defeating the purpose of a vaporizer if you go any higher than like 220. Otherwise you might as well put it in a bong and smoke it.

personally, my vape doesn't have a temperature control knob. my temps adjust according to how I use it; how hard I hit it.
most expert vape users just start at the manufacturers suggested and go from there...

I usually start Vapeing at about 350F and work my way up to 420F. Works well for me. Different canabinoids are released at different temps. When you find your favorite temp you can use that exclusively.

I know high times reported 365 degrees. but I'll start at 350 since that seems to be the global temp for it. I heard different strains containing more or less indica have different combustion points and such but I don't think that will matter too much.

i've used 140f and 320f. Personally i get a better high around 140f and it isnt as harsh on my throat, and it tastes much better. YUP
