Just applied at 7-11

Was probably one of the easiest applications I have ever done. I'm a little worried about being shot if I get hired, does that seem reasonable?

Any time you work for those types of places, there is always the risk some idiot is gonna try and rob it. If it happens - just remember, don't try to be a hero - let 'em have the money, immediately, without comment.

i wouldn't worry about it.

I would ask for the day shift.

when i was younger my mom made me apply at mcdonalds... they interviewed me and said i was too qualified!!! man was i glad, got my mom off my bak too!!!

i dont know where u live but all the dot heads here in florida own there own little hobdob stores, They never work at 7-11.


But yeah thinking about being shot at is reasonable, Just hopefully you can do the day shift since it tends to happen less then nightshift. Just out of curiousity do you know if they drug test or not?

I was banned at the local 7/11 due to a misunderstanding over spoon straws.

The 7-11's near me was robed by these guys that went around throwing hot cofee in the clerks faces happend like three times.But that job is not worth getting shot over just hand the money up.

Id be looking into a concealed carry license if I was gonna work in a gas station.

you probabaly won't get robbed but if you do just give them the money that is why they have insurance.

This thread is epic win all the way through. Good luck on getting the job. And convenience store clerk is not that dangerous. If you're driving to work, then you're a thousand times more likely to be injured/killed there than pushing cigarettes gasoline and slurpees.
