Its weird because alot of the pistols are still white and there are only a few amber trics with mostly cloudy and some clear. Im not sure what the heck I did but meh live and learn next grow I'm gonna be much more prepared. ill post some pics of the plant in a bit, packing some stuff up in between :)

if you're aiming for more head high, chop now. But if you want her to ripen quicker, maybe let the medium dry up then give her a 3 day dark cycle and look at the trichs, you'll notice a difference, but the real thing is you want to know what you want more.

that dark green is telling me this isn't much of a deficiency but rather a pH or salt buildup issue.
Next run, rule of thumb should be a leeching (3 gal water to 1 gal medium) of the medium to help get crap out of it, and then re-apply nutes.
Also checking pH is very important. Whatever soil being used may not have anything to buffer the medium, you'll think there is a deficieny but really nothings available, and the plant has multiple deficiencies and burns at the same time.

the buds look nice and big though great job!

by ripen i mean help the plant use up its stored energy (carbohydrates) , It is a common practice to do prolonged dark periods to reduce chlorophyll and really tell the plant to use up what its got. Just remember to have air flow and not too humid, or you may get mold

see how your pistols are all still out? you want them start to recede, which will help let you know the plant has reached the end and is ripe to pick

this N abundance/deficiency may have stunted her flowering and may be why it's taking so much longer

Ya a head high will work, I wasnt expecting it to take so long in flower, You think it was to much nitrogen?

i'm not saying it was nitrogen directly, but it would help to know what the soil or medium is, and what your feeding schedule is like and what nutrients, I might be able to help pinpoint the issue

reading back i see you use MG soil, I think that's the problem, too much salt buildup causing stress as the medium dries, this soil has high levels of everything so during veg you get too much K and during budding you get too much N, there's no winning. You could get away with using MG ferts on soilless for veg because the nitrogen ratio is okay, but with this you are playing around too much, i think it's a lot easier to get a 1 -step grow nutrient such as foliar pro by dyna grow and use a soilless medium like coco-- the leaves should be green all the way till the end, and not get crispy and yucky like that. This is your main goal during flower and i think the soil you're using is the culprit

great to learn with though and the buds are huge, great job dude

Awesome, I was leaning towards the nutes being jacked but didnt think the MG nutes/MG soil work great on everything else except mj. Next run I plan on running a better soil like foxfarm, or coco hempy buckets, they seem pretty fool proof and less issues. Soil is great and all, but it does cause some hassles along the way. Thanks I was hoping to pull an oz or 2 of of her, but after looking at what an actual oz or 2 looks like all fluffed up lmfao ill be lucky to get 1 dry. Im about to chop her down in a few mins and trim her up before hanging. I just got to get a good playlist going or tv show i can listen to, so i can sit with my heating pad on my back to trim her up.

know that if using fox farm it's a good idea to mix a little lime into there, as the buffer they use in the soil won't last long enough. Also, the ffof is very "hot", too hot for seedlings, consider a lighter mix to transplant from such as light warrior or even a coco coir.

I use coco and I love it, just need to wash the coco before using it and pH balance it, and then it's ready to use (after it's strained which is a bitch)

hempys are a good method IMO if using bottled nutes, definately get the foliar pro if using coco, i love my results... And maybe add in some pro-tekt (silica solution)

if you don't want dyna gro foliar pro (9-3-6), there are other companies that make similar products, i just think that dyna is the most affordable

people in soil who like to use cheap stuff called jacks classic (i think) and is something like 20-20-20 is a great alternative from all those high priced items too

the more you plan this out correctly, the better things come out next time, and the last thing you want is a big bottle of nutes that causes problems and sits on the shelf forever.

lol trimmin in style buddy, thats sweet. Hope you enjoy reaping your rewards :)

I did enjoy trimming for the first hour lmfao OMG*** a shit ton of work, but i got her done. Ive copy and pasted every good thread to MW and put it on my old cell phone, been reading them for weeks watched quite a few videos incluging GC ultimite grow video. Lets say he is a funny guy. I didnt get started till almost 2 am because i wanted to go over harvesting 1 last time, I finished at 5 am, but i had some breaks and all. Ill post some pics in a few mins with total weight wet and all very surprising 1oz was a good number to shoot for and i am pretty sure i will get that easy with no problem.

Ok Ok finally Riu is back up and running it seems ive been waiting all day to post my post. First and foremost i must say i was surprised that total weight wet was 237. something g wet with some stems as you will see. These nugs are hard, by hard i mean surprised me, they say dont touch your nugs while growing so i didnt man when i cut her up last night they where stiff which is very very good im assuming. I dont think the yield wet was to bad and if 75% is water weight that would leave me with just under or just over 2 oz when she is done being dried and cured again very awesome, i was shooting for an oz.

So like my garage with a fan. During hot periods not humid. But we got some rain today so kinda humid.

I have the 420 scope and a regular microscope the next investment is a loupe, but im going to wait until after this harvest to get it. I need to get a loupe, a entire venting system including a carbon filter, lights hos/ mh or leds and look into coco hempy buckets.
Right on, for Coco I would suggest Royal Gold, it has Miticide in it which helps a lot, it is made for slow drip, but if hand fed regularly it's all good. As for the other stuff you need, I would just look around on the web, most local hydro stores are way overpriced, (you can still support them though by buying nutes and other things), but the bigger high ticket items are what they usually overcharge you for.

P.S. Nice harvest :weed:

Thanks all :), sorry for not being on as of late (UPDATE) I let them dry for around 4 days till they felt a little crispy but still moist on the inside then I put them on a drying rack for a day and placed into a Jar with a 65% bovida pack. I do not have a hydrometer but they are not drying out to fast and seem to be doing ok so far, but its only been a solid 24 hours in the jar. I did sample it, As everyone has got to do and its definitely perfect for me, very mellow happy feeling couch lock comes and goes as well as the energetic feeling. Can do work very well, no clumsy feeling. I cant wait to see how its going to be in a week or 2 after the cure :).
