i have 2 125mm computer fans and a
1.4m high .6m long .4m wide grow room
would these be good enough to use as a exhaust
and inline fan with a 400w hps theres another little 150mm
fan in there too

What are temps in there after the light has been on for 10-12 hours? If you are in the sweet spot I suspect that the answer is yes.

OK, you guys and that celsius are killing me. 50C=122F and that is just way too hot. I wouldn't put anything in there until you get the temps under control. Cool the lamp, exchange a ton more air or both. I don't think that you will be happy with the results you will get at 45-50.

around low 80s in US or below 30 if on the other side of the pond.

Zaccyy, you might do better to use both fans to exhaust and a passive intake to cool it. you never mentioned a carbon filter so I assume you are not running 1.I doubt a few pc fans would work w/ a filter but it should be OK w/out.

Zaccyy, a digital termo is cheap and a good investment. I wouldn't put any plants in there until you know that you can keep that closet at or below 85F, you can use the conversion table this time. If it's going to be a problem find out now. If you wait until there are plants in there and they are stressed you will scramble and half ass it, at least I did. Getting the conditions right is 1/2 of the grow. Good luck!

hello I am just setting up my grow closet and my problem may be that i cant get the temp high enough right now. I let 1000hps run for 12 hrs and it only got to 18c (its winter here -25 at night) thinking of installing a small space heater with thermostat so what should my temp be at the least when light is off:?:

I agree 18=64 and that is low, you are lucky. Raising the temps is pretty easy, shoot for the 25-26 range with the heater and you should be in great shape, remember to measure your temps under the lights ear where the top of the plant will be. That is where all the tender new grown will be. Just my opinion, take it for what it's worth. Cheers?

Thanks for that ow. What should the humidity be at. Cant check that untill system working but still need to know .Got one more question what is a good way to cut down on the smell? I will be venting up to roof. It will only be 6-12 plants at most so looking for a lo cost solution.
