Just a little advice for some newbies

Rules no. 1 - Never let ANYONE know you are growing, and if u do tell anyone, NEVER tell them where ur spot is at.

No. 2 - plan accordingly, if u know youre going away, set everything up so ur plants will be okay for the time being, if ur going away for a long period of time then i suggest putting a hault on ur grow.

No. 3 - be patient, you cant rush nature. Let the plants do their thing and they will reward you in the end.

No. 4 - do your research! Dont go into your grow blind. You will become overwhelmed.

No. 5 - keep calm. Having issues? Yellowing leaves? Dont worry, alot of people misdiagnose issues and it leads to more issues arising. If u need help, right a full bodied list of info regarding your grow medium light etc along with the symptoms u are seeing. P.s pics help a great deal so always try to get pics up when asking for help.

No. 6 - growing your own medicine should be fun, if ur not enjoying yourself then i suggest finding a new hobby

No. 7 - theres really isnt a right or wrong way to do things, everyones style is different as well as their grow setup, so expirment and play around till you find what works best for you and your setup.

Hope this helps anyone whos thinking about trying to grow there own medicine, any more input or good rules to follow for beginners is welcome to come and add on!

Hi everybody, I don't mean to be a nuisance but im a complete novice & would like some advice on how many plants I should grow in a 80x80x180cm tent. DCW with one reservoir & LED (hydroponics hut) is what im thinking to use - strain is c99 by female seeds.

Im not sure whether I should grow numerous small plants or say 4 larger ones to 100cm? im also wondering if this set-up is worth it in terms of personal yield until the next harvest & curing. I want to enjoy growing but I also want to enjoy enough personal yield to last up to 3months - that's every single day for breakfast, lunch, dinner, late snack & whatever in-between :cool: & not quite sure if this will do it. Might consider 100x100x200 if necessary. Also I don't want to work with clones. Any input is welcome, thanks.

I grow with cfls and soil but i would check into scrog or sog if i were you, best method to use as far as utilizing space and maximizing your yield is concerned.

Thanks Juss, I know about the sog & scrog but still not sure how many plants would deliver better results. I read people growing 25plants per m2 in a sog & other's that 1plant per 30cm2 is good which is I why Im thinking of 4 for my space. Was just wondering if anyone could suggest something...at the moment im inclined to veg 4plants for a bit before flowering them to about 1m but without any experience for my grow space im not sure if this is optimal. thanks

I dont grow medicine I grow a class a illegal drug well thats what it is in my country nice tips blaze

Just keep in mind plants will most likely double even triple in size when u switch over to flower, best advice i could give is find what works for you and stick with it, first run try doing 4 plants in bigger pots then on the next run try 6 in slightly smaller pots

Ive personally done a very good scrog grow in a area of about 3 foot by 4 foot I used 4 plants I topped em and lsted em outwards then added a screen about 6 inch above pot and grew for about 1 month till screen was packed tight then I switched to flower I made the mistake of not keeping to continue to fold under screen when they started to first stretch I only folded 1 week into flower shoulda folded for at least 2 weeks besides that I yeilded about 12 oz dry in this area ill post pics they not best pic but should helpimage.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Good info thanks...12oz would be way more than enough! was thinking of scrog also & appreciate your suggestion on leaving the 'screen' a little longer during the start of flowering. As Juss also says I can try it with 4plants first then change that number at the next grow to compare. Its just that I don't want to spend all that money on LED & a tent only to find that its size can never achieve the goal of yielding enough until the next harvest. Cheers (:
