July Planting in CenCal

Just got a small bed ready to plant some OG kush bagseeds. I'm located in a miserably hot part of central california, and I'm wondering if planting in July is plausible. I'm going to plant them even if it's not, but I was just wondering what to expect.
Thanks

Yes you can plat them but as seedlings I don't expect them to survive this heat and be able to produce anything. If you had clones I would say go for it.

I'm trying to keep the seedlings partially shaded and they seem to be doing okay.
Also, the spot I plan on putting them receives full morning sun and gets shaded around 4pm or so.

You should be okay, I’ve planted as late as early august with decent
results. They may not get big, but with proper care it should be well worth
it.

I agree with angryblackman, if it doesn’t cool off in the next week try and
keep them in the shade.

Best thing to do (in my opinion) is to pop them inside and toss them into 24/0 light until Mid August early Sept at the latest and toss them out to the elements. :)

yea it is cooking in the valley,107 degrees i believe if you keep them in the shade you might have a chance but abm has presented the best solution and try to veg them indoors for a few weeks...

I would veg indoors if i had the equipment (lights). I'm treating it more as a learning experience so, I'll see what happens and keep this thread updated with pics if i remember. .
