judging the right time to flush

when do you flush your plants in the final weeks of flowering; as soon as you notice the trichomes are ready, or after X number of weeks (regardless of the trichomes) ? I am a bit confused when you are supposed to flush and i lost count of the exact number of weeks in bloom but i'm somewhere in the middle stage of flower.

hmm that seems a bit too early, for me, but like you said to each his own. i guess you like a pure head-high. i want to harvest when i have at least a quarter or less amber heads. right now i have mostly cloudy trichomes with very few amber, maybe 1 out of a 100 are amber heads.

i just hope they don't get overripe in the 10-14 days between the final flush and chop.

i flush the last 2 weeks or i start when about a third of the hairs are terned
you mean when the hairs/pistils turn darker color? i thought i heard that was an unreliable method for judging ripeness.

I don't flush....
yeah, I will only be flushing when ppm levels are very high. Now if you ask my wife.... I better flush after every damned time LOL... Also, keep in mind if your medium still has a lot of 'unused fert balls' flushing at this time could burn the plants... given the amount of TDS in the soil that is :)
