I think I can summarize Republican and Democrat arguments.

Republicans "I HATE YOU I HATE YOU YOU ARE THE REASON I HATE YOU"
Democrats "I love you I love you you are the reason I love you."

Did I get it right?

Oh well the reality of our reality doesn't make for an idyllic dream that is for sure and then there is Ukraine War, Voting rights, Woman's right to choose. Donald Trump trying to destroy our Democracy.
Plus there isn't a decent Mexican Restaurant anywhere within 100 miles of me.

At least the Dr. has given me good medications to treat my COPD. I believe he is right. I have the energy to clean the house.

OMG Ted Cruz is trying once again.
They must be so butt-hurt from their Fail Yesterday that now he has some letter that Ten Senators signed.

They are very upset that they can't just stop Judge Jackson from being seated.

@schuylaar I cannot PM you but do tell me (without evasion this time, please) whom you meant by Peppermint Patty. A”why” would not be taken amiss, but is discretionary on your part.

It just seems to be on repeat today.

I guess everything and everyone is political.
Yeah the Republicans are very boring with their trolling. It is too much of the obvious variety.

It would be different if KBJ was the one that was actually doing something wrong, or was overturning cases, but it isn't, they are just pretending to give a shit about how much time she gave the sex offenders.

And now it is almost like they are trying to get the kiddy porn to look at, bunch of sick assholes these Republicans are.

Hey WaPo says there are several Watch Parties.

This is a really HUGH deal! Today is really is a combination of day two and day three it's just that Republicans have been trying to bloody Justice Jackson as much as possible and have had time to regroup and draft a complaint letter on the discovery thing.

History in the making and we are Living it LIVE!

Remember this has been an all White Men's Club as has much of the History of the United States of America and this will be the First Black Woman through that Door. The First through the door always gets Bloodied!

That's my opinion.

I like senator Padilla

He points out how there is a liberal use of people being labeled "Illegal."

Do you know who made people "Illegal" in an actual Law context?
Adolph Hitler and the Nazi party.

The Nazis were the first to actually make a race ( or religion ) of people actually Illegal under their law.
So the American use of the terms Illegal Aliens or Illegal people is right in that mold and using that same terminology as the Nazis.

People are not illegal. No Human should ever be put in the context of being illegal.

Justice Jackson uses better language such as Undocumented immigrants or aliens.
Sen. Padilla made a great point as to Judge Jackson's character in this regard.
Much more humanistic then anyone that calls a people "illegal."

We have systemic racism alright and that calling a people "illegal" is that very systemic racism in my opinion.

AND THAT'S a WRAP Folks!

Chairman Durbin is stating the Obvious that Judge Jackson is exceptionally well qualified and no one has said otherwise.

So it's Monday for us! They will meet and vote I think!

Wow and we experience a turning point in American History.

Except it is not a turning point. A black woman has been neutralized. She has been rendered powerless, forced to say nothing assertive over and over again. Her opinions have been rendered superfluous, her accomplishments marginalized, her experiences negated.

"If you don't agree with us white men you best not say anything controversial.. controversial to us. Better not offend us or we will slap your Supreme accomplishment out of your hands. You are STILL a house nigger woman, still a mammy, so don't you ever be uppity never, not now and not in your position on the court. You can NEVER EVER be one of us" "oh, and what ever you do. Don't appear ambitious, don't have your own mind, if you do then you must surely be a child molester sympathizer and closet terrorist"
